Such a typical Media hit job. Calling the response “callous”. Former player telling recruits to think about that when choosing schools. Smh.

Totally predictable and why you just respond with a simple platitude.

That's just it: she had no "response." I've heard of people being fired/resigning for something that they actually did say...but can you really be forced to resign for something that you DIDN'T say?

It's not acceptable to remain neutral or avoid a situation that doesn't concern you. You must bend the knee and worship at the alter of political correctness. You must pray to the BIPOC gods.

It was a little bit of an unforced error, like with Kelly the national media is always waiting to make a mountain out of molehill with Kim, she should have sensed it and given a simple “we hope she returns home soon” answer.

I mean, with due respect, the Root has a very particular brand. This isn’t different from anything else published. Just a rehash of the same tweets. No reason for the clicks, if you know what you’re going to get.

Notice the entire comment section on that Yahoo article is blasting them and thinks this entire thing is stupid. Most people do.

Baylor coach promptly goes on about Griner for 5 mins. So now of course media is pitting the 2 against each other. It really is sickening to see what social media and these clickbait hounds are capable of.

If you think this would have changed the media narrative, then you obviously stopped watching all media in June 2015. This is just a repackaged version of the fake Charlottesville "fine people" story all over again. Same template.

This mindset is exactly why we are where we are today. Too many weak men and women in leadership positions with no integrity.

Alot of back story there blamed on her and Grainer not coming out as gay while at Baylor.

Seems the truth has been heavily twisted by internet trolls and Grainer. Baylor was not a school that looked favorably upon alternative lifestyles and Mulkey suggestion to her to keep it silent until she graduated is being turned Into a HIT piece on coach.

frick Griner and anyone who sympathizes with her. Don’t peddle dope in foreign countries and expect privileged treatment.

They want her out of WBB because she doesn’t advance the narrative. Don’t forget they tried to tear her down over her mask comments as well.
