SOS by Year...

2011 - 1

2013 - 11
2014 - 7
2015 - 5
2016 - 4
2017 - 27
2018 - 9

So now we care about the bottom teams o nthe schedule? The fact is it's the tough teams that make a tough schedule, not Kentucky vs. Missouri and the difference in them.

Again, let's go ahead and try and find us a recent schedule we've played 3-4 Top 10 teams on BEFORE postseason. Nobody has yet to be able to find one.

You’d better care about the bottom teams on the schedule.

2 of them kicked our arse last year.

He posted an ENTIRE SOS, do you think, again, every single team matters equally? Because I sure could give a crap less in ULL vs. Rice.

I'd trade every one of our Top 10 teams for fringe Top 25 teams and "much tougher" bottom tier, but certainly not Top 25 opponents, suddenly our schedule would be "tougher" overall.

The list is solid enough without throwing in an oddball instance like that one IMO

By the way, I never used schedule as an "Excuse" for anything, I just think it's hilarious people think this is a "normal" schedule for us, it's most definitely tougher than normal, no question about it.

Jesus Christ dude, FACTS??

Preseason rankings are the absolute most meaningless numbers in all of sport. Not a single snap has been taken and no one knows anything about how UGA, Auburn, Miami, or Alabama will replace the players they lost. It is based almost solely on last season (except in LSU’s case apparently).

You’re touting preseason rankings from a poll where LSU is not even ranked

If those rankings are what we have to go on then just shut this shite down and fire O now because LSU sucks, apparently.

2014 was unheard of in the SEC West. Not a losing record in the bunch with all of them highly respected and ranked at some point based on what pollsters saw from them ON THE FIELD.

Once they all started playing each other of course teams started dropping because they can’t all win against each other.

But claiming that wasn’t a significantly tougher road than what the West appears to be this year in disingenuous at best and dishonest or ignorant at worst.

And again, that Wisconsin team was at least as good as this Miami team.

SOS also takes into consider Where the games are played, as well as every game on your schedule.

you posted a few games...these ranking are for the entire season.

Go back a few pages, while it can be argued it was as tough probably, it's definitely not tougher. And that was also a very long time ago, which goes to my point this is not a typical schedule by any means for us.

So you think equal weight to every team is what makes a tough schedule for a team like us? We aren't Kentucky here, the Rice vs. ULL's of the world dont make a difference. Top 10 vs. Top 20 definitely makes a difference.

Fine, but you said “comparable to,” not “tougher than.” It’s absolutely comparable, and you could even make the argument that it was tougher.

Again, we played 4 SEC teams that finished Top 25 that season, only 1 in the Top 10. Auburn was 8-5 and Ole Miss 9-4...Stop hyping it up like it was some ridiculous gauntlet

I'm not sure why you would. You're nitpicking about schedules before a poll has been released or ball has been kicked.

I agreed it's certainly comparable, but again, could make the argument 2018 is tougher upon first look with 3 potentially 4 Top 10 teams plus MSU. They both are very tough schedules.

It's not exactly a secret where UGA and Bama will be ranked about. Nor Miami/Auburn. All will definitely be Top 15 and UGA/Bama definitely Top 10. HIGHLY likely at least 1 of Miami/Auburn is Top 10 as well.

You don’t know this. It’s possible everyone but Bama is out of top 10 and only UGA and Bama from our schedule are t25 at the end of the year.

We're talking about the pre-season polls about to come up, yes, what I said will absolutely be true. UGA/Bama will be Top 5 in those.
