I agree this year's schedule is a travesty that should not have occurred and I will not argue other wise. That said if Bama somehow manages to overcome LSU, aTm, VT and more importantly their own egos and does the unthinkable of three in a row I will enjoy it all the same. LSU was jobbed on the bridge schedule.

Tide the 3/1 chalk for 2013 as of right now, with a strong possibility for 4 of 5.

Come on.... VT barely managed to get a bowl game last season.

Yep. That's what generally happens when the guy scheduling the games is a Bama grad and if we disagree with that it and file a complaint, if it gets that far, it goes to the head of the SEC, who is, wow, a Bama grad.

It goes back to what I said earlier, the bias for Bama is sickening. I understand that's your team but it isn't fair for any of the SEC teams, not just LSU.

We were screwed the 2011 season, last season, this coming season, and probably next season. So the media can toot Nick Saban a little more.

I won't argue about 2011 on this board but we'll just agree to disagree on that year. I firmly believe the two teams that deserved to be there were there. Fair or not is debatable but nothing in life is guaranteed as fair. Sometimes that's the way things play out, but unlike polls a schedule is hard objective data that can be controlled. I don't ink ALABAMa has the kind of control.some.of you do but regardless of how it happened this bridge schedule is ridiculous.

By the author's logic, Bama has not had a national champion's schedule in two years. Even when they complain about LSU they show the Bama Bias.

I certainly can't say for sure...but I would point out that I'd be far less concerned about bias in the SEC Offices were in, say, New Orleans and I have a sinking suspicion that if the schedules were going LSU's way BAMA fans would be questioning it...a bit. My suggestion is we move the offices and find out.

Someone else posted this at one point, and I agree. Move the offices to a national city like Atlanta, Nashville, New Orleans and put people in charge who are professionals, and not fans, and this shite would disappear.

This is possibly the worst article I've ever wasted minutes of my life on. This guy is an idiot, knocking Les for wanting to have fairness in the cross division scheduling? No one can argue that LSU has the toughest schedule in the conference, and therefore the country, this year. Can you blame him for wanting to see other teams in the division/conference have to play 4 of the top 5 teams in the conference (LSU being he in the top 5)? It's a little ridiculous to say that people wouldn't want to see say Florida vs Bama as much as they would want to see Florida vs LSU also. Guys a tard.

So for the sake of argument, if Stanford, Oregon, CLemson, Nebraska, or Michigan beat one ranked team and finish second in their respective divsion, they are championship worthy?

Really? You're putting VT on the same playing field as LSU and aTm? Not so much...

Absurd. Like a simple computer draw is exactly the same as the computerized calculations that go into the BCS nonsense.

Les was speaking off the top of his head. If you don't like a computer draw, put the team names in a hat and draw that way. Sheesh.

Would it be too much to ask journalists to take a moment to think before they sit down to their keyboards?
