The investigator will get the football players side of the story as will ask each side to gather witnesses to fill out reports on what they saw exactly. Then the investigator will call the DA to see if what information he has is enough to warrant an arrest. If he is given the green light, he will issue warrants for the arrest of the football player(s) in which they will be required to turn themselves in by a certain deadline. Upon turning hisself/themselves in, they will be arrested and brought to jail for fingerprinting and booking. There they will either wait for the judge or bail.
As I said, the cause for my arrest was PERMENANT injury inflicted. Kicking to the back of the head will not warrant 2nd degree battery. If convicted this is not something that will go away fast, the "pretrial" could last for years in which the defendents will attend court every other month where the lawyers and judge debate. 9/10 times this results in nothing but a continuence.

Any one have any idea why they are now meeting with the police. I thought their attorney had said he usually advises his clients to not give any additional info to police if they may be charged?
-We have a lawyer, we aren't going to say anything to implicate ourselves, but you can still interview us.
-A plea bargain is ongoing.
-The players have an alibi or testimonial from a witness showing it was just a fight or was justified.
-The charges are bogus and won't stick.
Take your pick.

I agree. Andrew should be discharged.

one more question... mind if I ask how much $$$ all the legal and court costs and Anger Mgmt classes wound up costing you?

As a die hard LSU fan, I would hope that Miles will do what's right. All 4 of the players that were involved broke team rules for sneaking out in the first place. You program starts getting in trouble when you turn a blind eye toward starters. Look at Ohio State. Programs get in trouble, also, when you place all of your eggs in one basket. Remember Perilloux. So, i would hope Miles will do the right thing. Bench them. Sit them down. I would rather lose with Lee, then win with the likes of Jefferson.
Do the right thing Les!!!
Set a different standard!!!

No one wants anything but accountability for their actions, if what has been rumored is true,
Its all of you JJ defenders that are running around trying to say everything is justified.
If he kicked a defenseless man in the face or head, he should pay for that, period.
If he is cleared of any wrong doing, he should go back to the team as if nothing happened.

Anger Mgmt is $20 a class, lawyer fees depends on the lawyer, mine was $2000 then another $1500 if it went to trial, court costs was the minimum $100, probation fees was $35 a month plus they could have to pay restituion.
