I personally think the radio topic was an obvious troll to get callers etc. I feel Les has handled these situations with class. I dont think he's been overly lenient or too quick to dismiss a kid for mistakes. I feel he genuinely loves his players and tries to help them until its clear that they wont accept the help and need to be dismissed (and then he still cares about them).

Les has more control of his program than 95% of all coaches......Addiction and stupidity are hard to treat, especially when they are synergistically working against you.

Idiotic question in my opinion. What exactly seems out of control? A player was dismissed for breaking team rules. College students will break rules. Control is lost when you don't hold them accountable. Les just kicked a Heisman finalist off the team. That's a pretty strong demonstration of control.

WWL should take a look outside of Louisiana, and notice this happens to almost every program every year. Usually not a big name like Tyrann, but it's very common.

Dude, all Les can do is kick players off. Maybe recruit higher character guys, but then you would hear bitching about him losing his touch in recruiting.

Fact is, that most schools look away when it comes to pot. Les does not. You can't convince me that many players on every SEC team are engaging in as much drug use as Tyrann did.

Oh I look forward to the insane and epic dumbassedness that will be on display during Sportstalk on the way home today. Only way this could be better is if Kristian was hosting.

A topic like this could lead to more problems. I want he kids to be proud of the fact that they're staying clean.

90% have been issue free. TM7 issue is that he liked pot more than alcohol and the government says one is perfectly wonderful and the other is illegal. To have your career ruined over the mildest drug is brutal. Just wish he would have stopped after getting caught.

If that's really a poll they are conducting, then WWL can go frick themselves.

Every college in America, no matter the division (or sub) has to deal with these issues. The real reason for the level of attention this is getting is because it was TM7.

Radio, like ESPN, has to report something and this is the money maker at the moment. It will pass once the season starts and LSU begins winning without him.

If we lose a game (especially if it is because of a secondary issue), standby for more BS radio and ESPN nonsense...

One morning the topic was at what age should you no longer wear a football jersey. It was the most foolish thing I have ever heard on the radio and I decide at that point I would no longer listen to tommy tucker on wwl.

if LSU were like Florida in Urbans tenure there, I'd be really embarrassed
