Why both fanbases are bitchy over this is beyond me. It's a strategy that we (WVU) would have employed as well if we needed it because it obviously works. I don't really care if it's classy or not, this is football not the friggin ballet, it stops being something you can call class right about the time you drive a guy into the ground. It's a tactic, it worked.
That said, LOL at the LSU fans thinking their players didn't do this. I mean come one guys, it's was like a soccer game. Go to the ground, act like you've been shot, slowly walk to the sideline, take 1 play off, good as new! Not even cramps are the quickly recovered from.
Both sides look like idiots, the Eer fans for thinking it actually mattered/getting pissy, the Tigers for thinking it didn't happen.

Does it even matter if they were faking? WV scored both times after the refs called time during the game for injuries to our defense

If scoring 21 points is "abusing" someone's defense then I wonder what they would say we did to theirs? Is there even a strong enough word in the English language?

Too bad we didn't fake beat the shite out of you, huh?

This article is a prime example of why WVU is WVU and LSU is LSU. This perception got in the players and coaches head so bad they let it affect their play. "TOP PROGRAMS" deal with adversity by taking a kickoff back for a TD when needed where as "the rest" just look for excuses to explain why they couldn't get the job done.
WVU -Is Faking injuries worth the 26 points you lost by?

No not really we have gotten use to teams MAKING EXCUSES for losing to us, like Oregon, get in line.

if anyone thinks something like this could possibly affect the decision on the future of a team being added to the conference for decades to come is a fricking moron, WVU or LSU fan

CLASSLESS coach = CLASSLESS players... WVU has both...

You mean like Brockers? Hebert? or Adams whose had cramp problems all year. Have you seen the roster of non-practice players this week?
No?
Then perhaps you should, prior to bringing your butthurt to this forum.
FWIW re: Adams, when an offensive line is allowed to consistently hold, as yours was in this game, D-Linemen are going to cramp.

Eviscerate is the best I can think of, but it would still fall short.

Most overused word on Tiger Rant? Class. It's almost as bad as BGN's obsession with twitter rumors.

SSo you know what? May WVU die with the Big Least.

THere was only one injury that was questionable. Brockers was rolled up on once, and the other time down the series was over.
Yall are just clueless, hell you booed an offensive player of LSU.
And why do your people keep posting things such as "for as tough as they are" etc, etc. It really makes you look silly, small and pathetic. Moreso than losing by 26, at home, in the biggest game of your season. And that is hard to do, congrats.

"There is absolutely nothing we can do," Bailey said.
He's actually mistaken here. They can cry about it on the internet. I'm not sure how effective its gonna be but give it a shot.

It is a tactic that may be used against the Mountaineers as the season continues.
"If somebody sees on film that was able to slow us down, then maybe," Bailey said. "That was something I never really saw before was guys falling all over the floor and pretending to be hurt. I don't know what the future holds, but I hope not."
Was this really a brand new, innovative approach to defending a hurry-up? I don't think so.

I accuse WV defense of not playing hard and letting LSU score more points than them.

Posted on 9/28/11 at 6:18 pm to NorthernWV
Oh, I guess we faked the 47 points we put up on your hillbilly asses in your back yard too huh? Actually, we missed a field goal, and a TD pass hit our receiver in the hands. Just be lucky we didn't feel like faking 57 on y'all
