Isn't every LSU employee considered a state employee? If so, there are probably rules on how long a job must be posted and how many candidates must be interviewed.

My guess is that Les is going through the hiring motions and has his candidate already.

Good chance this is a red herring. Pendergast lives in Dallas as does George Bass, who is Miles' agent.

I thought Clancy lived in Phoenix, his hometown.

OK. I'm going to try and look at the bright side of Stoops.

He's been playing against a lot of spread offenses which pretty much every school has had trouble figuring out so, that might contribute to his softer numbers at OK.

Maybe Les is thinking that he wants a DC who has experience dealing with spreads.

OK. There. That's what I got.......

Don't try to Church it up, Dirt.

LOL. That sounds like me wishing Michigan would have made an offer to CLM

You're opinion means nothing. You've hated Miles since before he even got to Baton Rouge

The Miles loving goober smooching sunshine pumping HAS to stop! If he's getting Stoops then Miles is even more of a moron than I thought he was.

He has taken that news report and committed to his mind as fact.

Lets not forget Chavis got stomped. And he has not been able to finish games for years. Our players want the opportunity to finish a game by continuing to play aggressive and not be afraid. Chavis gets scared and tells the D to back everytime on the final drive by the opposing team. I am tired of it. Our players can finish if they get the call.

I haven't read the whole thread.

Do you have an opinion regarding Stoops if he were hired? I mean, ya know. Would you like to go on record BEFORE Miles hires him cause let's face it, if Miles hires him, you're gonna be all up in here telling us how awesome he is.

That's because he wants it to happen so he can trash the coach and program.
It's new day same ole shite with many people in this thread that read a random news story and look for a way it could reflect negative on the coaches or program and run with it.

I've never seen anything like it.

Plus the OP already said he "hated" miles when he was hired in 2005. Shows you the level of idiocy we are dealing with in this fanbase.

It's a pretty idiotic assumption then. But it's obvious that miles can do no right for some people and there are many on record that have proven that observation.
