This is a courtesy for a friend in need. Les makes OU fans think their DC is a desired commodity. Stoops doesn't have to fire his brother. Now big game bob owes les a favor.

Miles' agent George Bass is in Dallas, I think.
Probably represents Stoops as well, and this is an agent move.
No way Stoops is our next DC, but the only hire that would make a difference would be someone who had any potential to replace Miles after we have another disappointing performance fronm our handicapped QB position.

Yes, these agents know how to play the game to get more $ for their clients.
It seems like the two weakest candidates of those names mentioned would be Stoops and Steele.
I realize Miles is stubborn and often shows it by going against a majority of the fan base, but even taking that into account, hiring Mike Stoops for this would not be acceptable.
