Being that Saban has worked with Kiffin for what 3 years now? I think Saban would have a pretty good grasp at what Kiffin wants and likes to do.

True, and vice versa. But it at least appears kiffin has changed his offense annually to match his personnel, so maybe he would do that next year if he comes here

Yes you got it SABAN is the greatest and no one can beat him ever. Especially if you have worked for him.

Complete freedom under O. Saban won't know what hit him.

The thing is...Kiffin runs the style of offense that Saban loses to EVERY YEAR. (Except this one )

Its not a matter of knowwing what he will throw at him...its actually stopping it.

If we had Chad Kelly this year running their system how badly would we have beat Bama? My god our WR's are so damn talented its hard to not see us (with a solid defense) beating Nicky consistently.

SOMEONE DOES IT EVERY YEAR! And I hope tOSU does it this year. (Although I doubt it happens )

No.

Bama has Kiffin. They are 12-0 with a freshman QB and no really elite playmakers on offense. Based on the success he is having there, I think Bama would want to keep Kiffin. So LSU getting Kiffin would be advantage LSU.

opposite is true also. plus kiffin hire would give lsu the media and recruiting buzz we need right now after a meh hire at hc.

I'm of the opinion that anything that strengthens your team while weakening your opponent is a win-win

Did a Steele hire give LSU an advantage over Alabama? Did an Aranda hire give LSU an advantage over Wisconsin? Did Chavis give aggy an advantage over LSU? Did McElwain give Florida an advantage over Bama? Did Craig give LSU an advantage over Auburn?

Ridley and Stewart make Malachi look like a 5th rounder.

OJ Howard is a pretty darn good TE as well.

You do know that you are building my case right? Or are you that short sighted.

He either improves our offense or not. A future matchup is not important as getting better on that side of the ball no?

It make it easier for Bama to stop the running game...

Only you could find that post anything other than what it was, a series of questions.

Bama was doing pretty well before Kiffin got there.

And there is no doubt Saban has already considered that he may coach against Kiffin and he's making notes.

Kiffin with LSU vs Saban would do a lot better than we did this year, let's face it, we could not have done any worse on offense. But bottom line is there is still a greater collection of intelligence on that Bama sideline than on the LSU one.
