Would you still feel the same way about Ben Simmons if he ever came back to get his degree

Title says it all. I already know he will never come back to LSU to finish school but if by a very slim chance he decides to come back to obtain his degree would you feel differently about him?

ben Simmos made it perfectly clear that he didn't give a crap about LSU, and I don't give a crap about him.

Man you guys need to get a life... Ben Simmons doesnt owe anybody sh*t. He was projected to be the #1 pick while he was still in HS. Blame the NBA for not allowing these guys to enter out of HS.

I know he just went to LSU because rules says he had to attend 1 year of college before he could go to the NBA. LSU just happened to be the school he picked for his 1 year.

And he could have picked any school in the country, but he chose LSU and now LSU can use him being the #1 overall pick and ROY to recruit better athletes than they could before.

In the 1 1/2 semesters he was at LSU, it doesn't sound like he got many credits at all.
He would probably do some kind of online degree at this point rather than coming back to LSU.
With his next contract, assuming he stays healthy, I think it will be the least of his concerns.

It's different with one and done guys. They aren't invested in the school and fans know they are just passing through.
I doubt education is on their mind. Do enough to pass the fall semester then check out. I'd do the same.
Just give me some good basketball to watch.

Not true. He doesn’t regret going to LSU, and he would choose LSU again if he could. It was always about the NBA for him, just like it is with everyone else. He did choose LSU right? Maybe he went to Kansas, Kentucky, or Duke I can’t remember.

The same way Donald Trump “isn’t your president” Ben went to LSU. Lol, are we ignoring this fact completely now?

Look, I really appreciated being able to watch Ben for the tiny amount of time he was at LSU, but those that try to make him out to be a Pete Maravich or Shaq or some sort of golden legacy to be revered for all time, no. no. no.
The year he was here he showcased his talent, and ok LSU can use him now to attract recruits but to suggest that he is a Tiger for Life or anything like that I just don’t buy.

No.
I have no animosity towards Simmons and really can't understand why anyone else does. He was a guy that everyone knew was one-and-done player BEFORE he stepped on to LSU's campus. He had the opportunity to go to any school in America and chose LSU, a decision, many would argue was against his best interests in light of LSU's minimal recent basketball success. He was committed for a year before he signed and never wavered on that commitment.
In his one season at LSU he put up numbers that would have likely got him the national most outstanding player award had he played for ANY other team. He averaged more assists, blocks, steals, rebounds and shot a higher FG% than the MOP that season, Buddy Hield (Simmons averaged 5 ppg less than Hield)
Simmons did everything he could to overcome Johnny Jones' lack of coaching ability. I've said it a million times, Simmons was as advertised. The problem was so was Johnny Jones.

Look, graduating with any degree is certainly an achievement. It means you went to class and at least passed some exams.
Sports Administration is the default major of virtually all athletes, and that's for one reason. Let's not pretend that the vast majority of athletes study anything rigorous.
That's why I respect players that actually do study something legit - like Skylar Mays (pre-med) and Tremont Waters (Finance). Both of those guys were 4.0 students in high school, I believe.
Makes me appreciate them all the more.

I don't want to be mean, but I doubt he could complete a degree at DeVry. For his sake I hope he's smart enough to hire someone who is competent and honest to handle his finances.
