Would you rather Anderson or Eyanson on the mound vs Dallas Baptist?

Dallas Baptist has hit 97 HRs on the year to LSU’s 90. They have 3 guys in their lineup batting over .320 with 14 or more HRs.

Anderson has given up 14 HR’s in 15 starts. Eyanson has only given up 4 in 14 starts.

Based on the stats that you posted, Eyanson. Which is what will very likely happen. I'm not really sure why people are thinking that Eyanson will throw game 1.

i think DBU is prone to LH pitching if i recall. So i would throw Anderson

Neither threw against DBU when we met early in the season.

Those 97 home runs didn’t come against Anderson level pitching.

DBU can rake, no doubt, but if LSU plays to their ability theres really no reason to worry about them. The problem is will the offense show up in the post season.

Just because you don't follow anyone outside of LSU, doesn't mean others are the same way.

I'm not going to worry about a team we may not play. I'm worried about LSU hitting whoever gets thrown at them, especially if that pitcher is a shite tossing lefty.

Neither. We don't need to use those guys up. Only if we have to.

Anderson needs to pitch Friday of the Super Regional. There's no reason to change his schedule now

Jay is going to keep the schedule through the super regionals.

Y'all need to stop beating your head over this.

UALR has 1 lefty
none of DBU’s starters are lefties
Rhode Island has 1 lefty who is legit but he likely pitches against DBU

Pitching is not our issue it is hitting. If we cannot hit a little league pitcher having Skenes on the mound will not mean anything.

The more Dallas Baptist talk I see, the more I am convinced LSU will be playing Rhode Island on Saturday.

Rhode Island can swing it, and their ace is a lefty who has already shut down a good lineup this season (Oregon).

Also, Dallas Baptist has been struggling in the tournament lately.

2024: Lost game 1 to WVU. Eliminated by Grand Canyon
2023: Lost game 1 to Washington. Eliminated by Oral Roberts
2022: Lost game 1 to La Tech. Eliminated Air Force

This is so ironic. I promise you that I’m one of the few posters here who watch college baseball OUTSIDE of LSU games

Just curious: how does a loss in 2022 affect the tournament that’s happening this year?

Do they even have the same players on the roster?
