Spring. So that it messes with Tenn. and Alabama's TSIO.
In all seriousness, how does football with no fans solve the revenue problem schools will experience with no football?
Only revenue generated will be TV revenue.

it won't/wouldn't.
my kids likely have already been exposed and even if they got it they'd shake it off assuming they even had symptoms and my parents (and inlaws) are all over 80 with multiple co-morbidities.
I have said it before, while I would mourn them and miss them greatly, the lives of my parents or inlaws are not worth the incredible damage that has been done to the economy and the Constitution as a result of this event - which is and has been a complete overreaction.

This is my question.
TV revenue is why there has been an explosion however there still is a ton of money made on the gate, concessions, merchandise etc.
Add to that the fact that football and mens basketball are the only real money makers and you are going to have athletic departments going broke nationwide trying to pay coaches salaries etc.

I agree with the following:
Piped in crowd noise to mimic home field for each team......
Flash to old crowd pics and I wont know the difference for the most part.
and with no fans.............................we get Mike on the field again

Fb with no fans in the fall is better than no fb at all.

I know you provided two options but the only real option is the fall.
This nation has to return to some semblance of normalcy as soon as possible and that, in part, means playing football in September, October, November, and December.
The overwhelming majority of college football fans watch games sitting on their couch anyway. Besides, I believe we will be playing in the fall with fans in the stands.

Agree with fall. If we want to see our Juniors again in Purple and Gold, we need fall

I live in Miami. We have 3 seasons....Pre-Summer (Spring), Summer and Post-Summer (Fall). Pre-Summer and Post Summer are bascially the same weather and since nobody goes to Miami Hurricane games, nobody would notice the difference.

Please, no Spring semester fball. Can you imagine playing a game at 7pm on Feb 13 in TS? In Columbus, OH? In Laramie, WY and Salt Lake City? At Penn State? Talk about people getting sick.
PLay in September with just families and band/cheerleaders present. OR, open it up to any ticketholder who wants to take that chance. Unless a reliable treatment and/or a vaccine is developed, most stadia would be 50% or more empty anyway.

F that, season as scheduled in the fall with full stands. 12 studies now indicate cajun food and beer will prevent the the virus.

EASILY the Fall without fans. I just wanna see football/sports ASAP, and they'll do the one season without fans, and then be back to normal the following seasons. I can't wait til next spring, plus all the Juniors and Seniors with NFL aspirations would deal with terrible timing.

I’ll go to the game...I’m probably immune anywa as I think are 80 percent of the population. I’ll cheer our Tigers to victory in every home game! Probably with a cheap ticket to boot!

Maybe just play the second half of home games. There aren't any fans there anyway.

Can I get a menu with approved foods & a beer list please!! I'm willing to be in the test group! LOL!

I like the fall with fans so I’ll say the fall with fans

Fall with fans in the first half ONLY. Same as it's ALWAYS been.

Depends if they can guarantee a vaccine by spring. If not, you won’t get fans bunched into a stadium imo
Give me football in the fall no matter what. Spring is a long time to wait.
Serious question: if we played next spring would that mean our 2021 signing class could play? I’m sure some of the early enrollees would in that scenario
