Quite a few times I've had large gameday BBQs planned at my house and then been offered nice tickets and had to turn them down because it was too late to turn the herd so to speak. Don't know if that's helpful.

I would go to the LSU game. I can DVR or watch a replay online of the hypothetical Arkansas game, but I can't put the live LSU game on pause. And, even if it was against a weaker opponent, I'm still much more excited about tailgating and watching a game at Tiger Stadium live then seeing Arkansas play a top notch OOC opponent live on TV.

But, in your case, I would stay home and watch the LSU and UGA games. Especially considering the story lines of the LSU game and the opportunity to see Boise St. potentially finally get their dose of SEC medicine, and the fact that watching Missouri St./Arkansas at Reynolds Razorback doesn't sound all that fun even if it is your team. That last part may have been a bit subjective but whatever.

Not a chance in hell. Do you know why Louisiana hasn't fallen in to the gulf of Mexico? Because Arkansas sucks !

I would miss weddings, births, HOF ceremonies, funerals, grand openings and reunions before I would miss any LSU game.......much less another football game.

I would go to the game even if LSU was playing a high school team. There is no way I am missing an opportunity to be in Tiger Stadium for anything.

If it was someone like Northwestern St. I would still go tailgating but I would prob just stay at the tailgate and watch the games on tv.

Are you serious?

I do not care if we are playing Little Rock Central. As a fan, I have been waiting a long arse time to get the Sugar Bowl taste out of my mouth. I've been waiting like a mofo to sit in a packed Razorback Stadium and hear 74k fans call the hogs. I have been waiting to see what Ronnie Wingo and Dennis Johnson do at the RB position in place of Knile Davis. I've been waiting to see how NT Robert Thomas is going to plug the middle of the Dline.

No fricking way should a fan skip out on the season opener of his team if he is a real fan. It is the first game of the season, the first chance you get to see the 2011 version of your team against an opponent.

Who cares if they are playing Mizzou State. It is a damn fine reason to tailgate all day, get drunk, be merry, eat all types of unhealthy junk and then walk in to the stadium with 74-76k of your best friends.

Yes. I've left shitty ooc games to go watch top 10 games before. Especially in the les miles era who basically treats those games like scrimmages and makes them as boring as possible. Last year's mcneese game was awful, I had no problem skipping the beginning of that to watch a great game between auburn and Arkansas . shite, that game was more relevant to LSU than the one they were actually playing.

Anyone giving you shite over this is probably just trying to come off as a super fan "ahhh omg I would never do this!!!!!" Shutup

But I have to look at Richt. He's just meh about the whole thing. At least that's the way it seems.

If UGA loses to Boise, they will embarrass the conference. I will personally have to start calling for Richt's ouster even though I'm an LSU alum.

If I'd really rather not go, I would try to give my tickets to someone who would. If I could not find anyone, I would probably go to the game. As a ticket holder I feel the obligation to fill the seat
