TR is the best back in the conference (with Lattimore out). We badly wanted him here.

Having said that, I like our corps over TR because of the offense we use. We have different guys with different wrinkles. Changing backs is like running from a different formation, at least the defense has to adjust to it.

With the emergence of Hilliard as a legitmate threat to carry from the TB position, I definitely take our corps over TR.

tr has a great "backup" in the form of lacy. i do like what we've got for a season but it's hard for me to say i wouldn't want tr on our team for one game.

Ours by a long shot WITH a healthy O-line to make the holes that richardson gets

not quite. we dont really do different things with our backs. you just have to tackle the man with the ball

Richardson is the best back in the nation. Our fans are such homers

Stoping Richardson is the key to us winning. And I don't like that one bit. When the scenario calls for stoping one great player, it usually does not turn out good (tebow, newton, dmac etc.) I hate it, but if we lose that is why. He is the best back we have seen in a long time.

if we can't stop Trent Richardson or at least contain him, we have no shot of winning. Takes 2/3 defenders to bring him down.

For one game? Give me Trent. For an entire season, I'd have to go with depth at the position.

It's not like LSU doesn't have Elite running backs in their own right.

I think i'd take 4-5 highly talented rbs, than 1 Super freak.

Trent Richardson ATT 149 Yards 989 TDs 17 YPC 6.6

LSU

Spencer Ware - ATT 128 Yards 512 TDs 6
Micheal Ford - ATT 79 Yards 441 TDs 6
Kenny Hilliard- ATT 15 Yards 85 TDs 2
Terrence Magee - ATT 18 yards 61 TDs 1

Totals - Att 240 Yards 1099 Tds 19 YPC 4.6

I think your about as close to even as you can get. I'll take the stable over one man though just because of injury and fatigue.

so you'd take a handful of decent RBs over the best RB in college football for 1 game?

LSU doesnt have a RB that has YPC over 6.

Richardson is 6.6 YPC

as shown vs FL he can carry 30 times and still be a monster on his 30th carry.

just seems like a no brainer.

dude, how do you see that as close? Richardson has 100 less carries than that group and only 100 less yards. Over 2 more yards per carry.

If anything that is a heavy tilt towards RIchardson.
