Thanks for the stats and who's knows what ware would do with the extra 116 snaps not to mention having sat out. Factor in our usual field position usually .... Id take our boys any day.

TR is not stopped upon first contact... Neither is ware ... Both are punishing backs and both are hard to bring down requiring more than one man to stop. Is say that's close to being in same class. Ones at the end of his college career and ones just started. So yea imo they are in the same class. I never said ware was better ... Yet.

You know, if Ware has 21 more carries to match TR's, he'd need to average 22.7 yards per carry to match TR's yards.

Feasable!

im not sure that you have watched TR at all. He averages over 2.5 more yards every time he touches the ball. stop being a homer.

more touchdowns and more yards. Richardson is obviously better than our stable. but is he better than ours in the 4th quarter after taking a beating all game? I would rather two guys with 11-13 carries than one guy with 25. just my opinion, I dont pretend to be some football guru but I'll take 3 solid above average running backs than one superstar. I would absolutely love having trent in addition to ford and ware but I dont want him at their expense. I like the way we play football right now.

i see that point, but 1 game, 2 teams that are 8-0, with an extra weeks rest?

Richardson would be fine to carry the load. He is a beast.

Don't they only have him for 5 more games? I would much rather have the stable.

Richardson is damn good, though.

So, if Trent Richardson didn't exist, would the topic be: Would u rather have or LSUs stable of RBs?

I'm not sure you understand anything at all. No one is saying TR is not better than ware at this point. All I'm saying is ware is just getting started and we switch backs all game long. I'm simply saying they are similar. Both are beasts who are hard to bring down. Both punish defenses. Difference is ones older ones younger and the types of play calling. Sure TR has better stats and rightfully so but then again playing teams like you've played id hope his stats would be high considering his talent. Let's see what he does against a defensive line as good as ours. Hell let's say the same for Ware. Nov 5th can't come soon enough.

NAME CAR YDS AVG LONG TD
Trent Richardson 149 989 6.6 76 (TD) 17
Eddie Lacy 58 465 8.0 67 (TD) 5
Jalston Fowler 47 329 7.0 69 (TD) 3

You guys act like we got nothing behind Trent. If you'll look at the numbers, Lacy has a higher YPC than Trent, and he doesn't only play in garbage time either. Lacy would have likely been a 5 star out of HS if not for his grades.

Just because we havent had to play without Trent doesnt mean we cant. Also, you beat Auburn with a backup RB....so what? Their defense is like swiss cheese.

How's Ware going to do against Alabama's Defensive Line?

Seriously, neither team has faced a run defense.

LSU fans throw out Penn State (#18). The next closest is #35 Florida. Then it's #43 WVU and #45 Vandy.

I would take Ford over Lacy any day from what I've seen. Granted I have seen a lot more Ford than I have of Lacy

For any given game, Richardson.

For a season or multiple seasons? LSU's stable.

Michael Ford was light years ahead of Lacy in high school. Lacy wasn't really close at all, 5.9 4*

And Lacy gets 55% of his carries while Alabama is winning by 15 or more points. Fowler is right at 80% of his carries while Alabama is winning by 15 or more points.

You are right that not all of his carries come during garbage time.. but more than half of them are.
