I think he would. What made him a star were the ridiculous catches he makes.

I think if he wasn't in NY he might even be more popular because he wouldn't be under all of the scrutiny that goes along with the NY media.

I don't know, is Mike Evans a superstar? Probably wouldn't be considered one even though he is just as good.

Maybe not as big. But yes. Especially after that insane catch as a rookie.

That said being in NY doesn't hurt at all.

He would still be a widely known and recognized player but he would in my opinion be less popular than he is now. Obviously playing in the biggest and brightest city in the country has a positive effect on his popularity. If he played in some obscure place like Kansas City or Jacksonville he would definitely be less notable.

No, I wouldn't say a superstar. Not even sure OBJ is a superstar. Tom Brady is a superstar.

Are you watching them without him? He may need to be considered for MVP

im not sure you know what being a super star means. Has nothing to do with location. Its all about talent.

I'm assuming you just turned the game on, saw the score, and assumed he was playing. He would be a star damn near everywhere. He's one of the best playmakers in the league and has already set several records.

Yes. He and Jarvis Landry are the quickest to ever snag 200 receptions. He's objectively amazing in his own right apart from being in NYC. That being said, his team's high profile helps.
