Would it help Naz to come off the bench for a couple games like it did Waters?

Im sure Ill get down voted to hell, and I know the guy will be a good NBA player, but he is struggling right now. i dont think all of his struggles are physical; it seems he has lost a little confidence and may need to re-group.

It wouldn’t hurt to try it against Arkansas at home. It sure as hell worked for Waters.

You can tell he is uncomfortable posting up but give him credit for playing hard. When it clicks in the paint for him he will be even more dangerous.

Just can’t believe he is supposed to be a first round pick. He’s barely one of the best 5 on the team.

What does he do that makes you believe he will be a good NBA player? He can shoot a three more consistent than a layup.

He's playing like he's hungover tonight.

I was thinking the same thing.

He's overthinking things and needs to settle down.

He has the ability to put up 20-10+ if he realizes how good he is and figures out when to finish in the post, when to pivot and when to pass. Add to that when to stop thinking and just play.

When these things happen (they will), he might not be Zion, but he'll be right up there among the best in the country.

Letting him come off the bench for a few games might be just what he needs.

No don’t mess with the chemistry. Naz needs to learn that he should be looking fir contact and to get fouled instead of trying always to get off clean. He needs to invite fouls and contact and live on the ft line. That’s what scorers do. Young players want their game to look good they want their shots to all go in but drawing fouls and getting easy points at the FT line is a much better easier way of scoring. Veterans know this Naz needs to.

Naz gets hacked a ton with no calls. He gets plenty of contact. It jsut hasn't always translated to free throws when it should have.

Watch veteran post players compared to Naz, Grant Williams averages 8.5 FT attempts per game Naz averages 3.6. Naz is bigger and could easily get to the line as much but he doesn’t understand how important it is yet. If Naz got to the line as much as Williams he’d be averaging 17.6 ppg and nobody would be saying anything but positive things about his game.

I've critiqued Naz plenty myself. It's in my recent post history if you care to indulge.

All I was saying is that he probably deserves 2 more FTs than he's gotten per game based on missed calls in SEC play that I've seen.

In the OT win over Missouri he had 9 attempts and made them all.

I'm not disagreeing with your point. All I'm saying is that it isn't entirely his fault.

No he is not. This is the epitome of fake news. Before the Mizzou game his numbers were ABSURD. Tonight, every single player except Tre is playing terrible

Yeah. I just don’t see what scouts see in him u less they’re looking at him as a defensive/rebound guy.

The kid has almost ZERO body control and just looks so uncoordinated
