How about Josh Reed? How about Josh Reed, 5' 10" 210 Lbs. Similar build and speed. Fair college WR

I haven’t seen his high school highlights. Did he play RB at all? He seems like the perfect build for RB or safety/lb hybrid.

ETA: If he has long arse arms and huge hands, I think he will be fine at WR. But I don’t know what his wingspan and hand size is.

I thought of him as a defensive player when he was in HS. He's going to mess around and be like Terry Godwin. Godwin was a 5 star athlete going to UGA and I thought he'd be elite as a DB, but he wanted so much to play WR. He was a starter his first three years then his senior year he was 5th in yards and 6th in receptions.

Sullivan is another guy I thought should have played on defense. He'll get drafted based on how well he does at the combine.

Lee will be behind Marshall, Chase, Palmer, Kirklin, and Jenkins next year, and likely behind 2 of the 4 freshman that will be coming in next year.

I have no idea where he will play. His recruiting profile indicated that he was athletically gifted and could play offense or defense. If he has Reed's ability to read defenses and find an open spot on the field, and Reeds balance and ability to break tackles after the catch, he can definitely fill a need as a WR in this system.

You are looking at this really badly. Dillon, Anderson, and Sullivan are seniors and they were passed up by Marshall and Chase. Chase and Jefferson (first year starters) last year passed up everybody. Dillon and Sullivan were also guys that LSU tried to ask about playing defense when they were in HS, but when they refused, they agreed to play them at WR.

The three high ranked guys we have coming in right now are PERFECT for this type of offense. I mean legit. Moore is also decent and that's not including the guys we have now. I said this before I saw the offense and before NSD, I did not think Lee would do much at WR, and I still believe that.

Steve Smith was 5’9” 184 as a college SR

More importantly, what was his freshman weight? Same goes for Boldin.

I’m thinking Lee probably ends up around 235-240 by the time he leaves.

While it may turn out to be true, this is an absolutely absurd comment to make at this point in time.. Idiot

He needs to do what's best for him. All this talk of the team is bullshite, and it would be wise to remember the words of Ayne Rand, "It stands to reason when there is sacrifice there is someone collecting the sacrificed offerings. When there is service there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice and service is speaking of slaves and masters...and intends to be the master."

Now, what were we talking about Devonta sacrificing?

Don't want to be that guy, but if a lot of these guys listened to the coaches, they'd be rich by now instead of trying to play the position in the NFL that they should have played in college (BTW it almost never works out).

He’s not 6’1”. At LSU you automatically get an inch. Sometimes more.

Find some 6’ 225 in the nfl right now for me. Or 6’1” 225 WRs. Make sure and reference official combine weight.

Morris Claiborne could have stayed at WR and done fine. Maybe he would even made it to the league. Instead, he switched to defense and went in the top 10 overall pics.

Not NFL he's a freshman.

A consensus four-star talent at the receiver position ... Rated as the No. 6 recruit in the state of Louisiana No. 12 at his position nationally by Rivals ... A freak athlete who can burn past defensive backs and win 50/50 battles ... As a senior, caught 42 passes and scored a total of 22 touchdowns … Added 55 tackles and seven interceptions on defense … Competed in the 2019 Under Armor All-America Game ... Caught three passes for 118 yards in a touchdown to help his team claim the 2018 2A

Its up to him and the coaches.

They're gonna keep the bug in his ear. But they're also going to let him figure it out on his own.
