Miami 1988. It rained sideways. Torrential downpour. While the Hurricanes kicked our butt 44-3. My first semester at LSU. We weren’t even in the game.

Only home game I missed while being a student. Walked down Nicholson in a torrential downpour, scanned my ticket for priority points, and walked right out. It was miserable.

Also, South Carolina in '07 was a pretty rainy game too.

I also remember a game in the late 90's vs Mississippi State that was in a torrential downpour. I was at both games (only 15 for the Miami game), but remember the rain would not stop for the MSU game. We we're lucky enough to have seats that were below the upper deck for the Miami game, so we didn't get as wet for that one.

austintexastiger I was at both of those games in '79, USC & Bama. Only good thing was my date at Bama game never complained once about the weather. We stayed until the end. That's when I knew she was special. She is now my wife of 40 years. ALSO at 2002 Bama game - 25 degrees and shutout 31-0 shutout. At '04 Oregon State drenched before kick-off, then baked in sun. At least we won, when Alexis Serna, a red-shirt freshman kicker in his first college game, missed ALL 3 extra points (last in OT) and doinked a FG attempt off upright. Serna didn't miss another extra point his entire career, making 144 in a row, and won Lou Groza award in 2005. Amazing luck for the Tigers that day/night!

1987 LSU vs Cal-Sate Fullerton. Raining so bad the band did not march pre-game.

Miami 88 was bad but I’ve never seen it rain harder than the state game in 94.

1975 or 1976 home game against Utah or Utah St, It was so cold that the guy next to us started a fire with paper cups
in the student section. We used bourbon to keep warm.
