Bama '79. We had already lost a heart breaker to #1 USC that fall and then we lost to #1 Bama 3-0 in the cold and rain

I was in Fayetteville when Arkansas beat us 17-0 for their first conference win in 2 years or whatever. That one was frickin miserable. It was like 20 degrees plus very high winds, and was an absolute shite show of a game.

I was there in 13 and same thing. Freezing fricking cold. We won, it was the game where Jarvis has the diving end zone catch.

In Death Valley, Fresno State 2006 it poured all damn day. I was absolutely drenched. We beat their arse at least, so that helped. Not much though, it was miserable.

Worse still than that was the Cap One Bowl against Penn State. The worst conditions I have ever seen a game played on as I’ve said many times. The field was torn up from prior games and we got screwed at the end. Our speed advantage was completely negated. That game sucked on day 1 of a new decade.

Went. Back when I would go gell or high water. Must have been 30K in the stadium. That was a bad one.

Heat wise? 89 Florida State.
Cold wise? 93 Ole Miss

Whatever you win, I get too. Also the rain for the 82 Tulane game after the raining oranges game.

Others that sucked:

90 Tennessee-it was 100 that day
95 Auburn-we brought back the magic in a sweltering humidity filled scorcher with zero breeze

How many remember the Utah game in 1976? Freezing cold.

That was certainly the coldest I have ever experienced in tiger Stadium..

I did go to a Steelers Monday night game in 3 Rivers in November underdressed … not sure which was worse

This is the answer. Oregon State in 2004 was pretty miserable too.

That was my last LSU game in Tiger Band. Marching pregame on that mud pit was quite difficult and at halftime we just stood and played without marching. My nomination is the 10am App. St. Game they moved earlier because of Gustave. That was the hottest, most miserable game there was.

but that oregon state game in 2004 always stood out in my mind. it pissed for a while

My first game as a student. I started at LSU in 03 but stupidly didn't get tickets. I'll never forgive myself got staying the entire game, only to leave after Oregon St scored their final touchdown in the 4th. I was going down the steps to Kirby Smith when I heard the roar of the crowd as Alexis Serna missed the extra point. I moved as fast as I could, as a handicapped man, to make it back to my room to watch overtime.

11/19/88- Miami vs LSU. Miami brought their mascot that day. I don't mean the stupid looking bird or whatever that thing is, but real hurricane type weather, downpour rain with heavy winds for most of the game. Miami "Blowout"
33-3.
The Dec. 28, 1997 Independence Bowl in Shreveport could have been the worse but for the 27-9 arse whipping LSU put on Notre Dame. The weather was as described by LSUsince74, very miserable, plus there was a Notre Dame a-hole fan sitting around us. As the game went on he realized that his team was going to get beat by the LSU Tigers and the silence which ensued was golden.

ETA 44-3
