When Miami kicked our butt - 1988 maybe? Rain - Rain - Rain.

This for sure and "rain" doesn't come close to the amount of water from the sky that night. Didn't help I over indulged on some cheap arse whiskey.

Independence Bowl in Shreveport. 1999 or so. Froze my butt off along with a fine mist

Is this when they played Notre Dame? If I recall we played ND during the season as well at home.. I was at that game and it was very cold. I remember when ND ran out.. Just having the cloudy background while everyone was wrapped up in blankets and jackets. It had a "South Bend" feel to it.

I've been to a good bit of games with bad weather and can't really think of just one off the top of my head.. But when we played Oregon St the first game of the 2004 season, the game was delayed because of thunderstorms and I got absolutely saturated during that game. So did everyone I went to the game with and on the way home it looked like we all jumped in a pool and got in the vehicle with nothing to dry off with.

Bama '79. We had already lost a heart breaker to #1 USC that fall and then we lost to #1 Bama 3-0 in the cold and rain

Saw both of them, though I was super young.

The weather was absolutely miserable, but since LSU never even got further than Alabama's 42 yard line, the game itself doubled the misery. Even if you're someone who loves a low scoring defensive struggle, that wasn't a game where you can recall a lot of memorable plays, etc.
