Worst Tackling Tiger Team EVER?

Watched LSU vs Every Opponent this year on You Tube. JD5 really saved our year. Don’t know if
misses tackle total was kept but Major Burns has to lead category.
Hate to pick on a Tiger but seemed like on every bad highlight showing him missing a tackle. Just Saying

Saved what an invitation to a meaningless bowl game? Who the frick cares about the make a wish bowl. Daniels made himself a lot of money this year

Major Burns was absolutely the biggest liability on defense this year. Hate to call a guy out but he was the least physical safety I’ve ever seen play at LSU. Wish him the best, but I don’t think he has a future in football.

Only because Speights was too slow to actually get in a point to miss half the time. But he damn well made sure he missed that tackle when he did finally arrive.

The 2020 defense was worse if you are considering just tackling. The 2023 defense was our worst overall defense in the years I’ve been following LSU.

I feel like Omar Speights missed every other tackle he made. Always a million yards from the player with the ball too. Won't miss that next year.

I thought at least the team started playing with a sense of urgency down the stretch but tackling was shoddy. Poor technique and not a big enough pair to even attempt a tackle at times. It was like a submarine movie, "Dive!"
