Dinardo doesn't belong on a list like that. It wasn't all bad under Dinardo. Very unfair to only remember the bad things.

He went 60-15 at Miami for a .80 winning percentage. Never had a losing season, was fired after going 7-6. Two previous years he went 10-3 and 9-4. Started up Texas San Antonio from scratch and led them to 8-4 his second year. Won a national championship and 3 conference championships.

Just sayin' his record is not very different from...

nevermind.

is this where we compare him to les miles? did i step in a time machine to 2008? that argument is so old and ignorant now

Maybe it is old and ignorant.

Coker does have a higher win percentage and one more conference championship.

All I'm sayin' is I don't really see how Coker belongs on the list.

Difference is one peaked in his first year with a team full of players he did not recruit. The team got worse every year he was there.

They use an SEC picture with Kiffin in it, get that shite out of here. We don't claim him in the SEC, he was in the Pac-12 much longer than the SEC. Put him in a pic with the Pac-12 logo behind him.

are we talking all time or just while coker was at Miami and Les at LSU? Because they have the exact same win percentage with Les coaching 40 more games.

And honestly coker got handed a more prominent program than Miles did.

Yep, you are right...even.

Probably fair not include the other stops because OK State was a tough place to win at before Pickens' cash and San Antonio didn't exist.

Though it is probably fair to say both did well at those places under less than easy circumstances.

lane in front of sanduski? what a fricking joke.

and, if we're going with coaching ability alone, les should be on it.

Yep. He showed those guys how to really plug a hole.

When Dinardo took over LSU had 6 losing seasons in a row and he won 3 bowl games in a row after that and finished up with a winning record at LSU. He wasn't the greatest but he wasn't all that bad considering where we were coming form.

Good thing great coaches are defined by their pressers and luncheons.

ETA: That's the dumbest list i've ever seen. Half of those guys were actually decent coaches.

Ellis Johnson at USM. Went from 18 straight winning seasons to losing every game since he got there, even after they released him.

If it's a list of the worst HUMAN BEINGS, Sandusky should undoubtedly be #1. But this is a list of the worst COACHES, and as a DC and a LB coach, the man that built Joe Pa's defense into "Linebacker U" should be nowhere near this list.

This!

Horrible human being, but as a coach (and only as a coach) he was a very good one. Hard to look past his baggage, but from only a coaching standpoint, he doesn't even belong in this discussion.
