The regression on defense from a pretty good defensive team w/the same players need to be addressed.
LSU INFIELD IS THE WORST IN THE LAST 40 +YEARS. Let that sink in the same people played well last season all regressed in one off-season???? The chances of that are slim its coaching plain and simple

No. We have seen one season from one of his hires and 2 months in baseball from another. The football coach is still in Spring practice. People are still just butt hurt about Wade even though it was his own fault.

Might want to check 2001. I think they were pretty bad.
However, I get the point. Berry is a sub 90 infielder now as is Thompson. Doughty was a 95 guy last season. It is just finding the right combination because sacrificing hitting for defense in multiple positions is gonna hurt. Gio and Dugas may have to platoon with Jobert in right or left. Bianco or Cranford at SS and Second Doughty at third.
Berry is the DH. That’s it.

Woodward has done well with everything else, but giving O a big raise and extension was absurd.
Nobody was coming after O and he was zero risk to leave. No raise or extension was needed.
