This. He made a joke out of himself. Losing the morale of the lockeroom by sucking up to a controversial politician is not a logical thing to do.

Scott Woodward's job is to run the LSU AD. I hated, hated Alleva, but Scott has done nothing and I mean nothing to help move LSU athletics forward. Nothing.

It looks to me like the LSU AD job is subject to a load of outside pressure. We saw that in the fact that Alleva wanted Miles fired twice and was over-ruled. I guess they don't get 100% of the blame. It seems the board is a big problem. Frankly a big JOKE!

So Ed losing the locker room was true? But TD told me that was false.
Also, Woodward hasn't done anything good so far. I'm not calling for his head, but there is nothing under his tenure yet that stands out in a positive light. He's too busy trying to lobby for University Pres.

A good AD like Bob Broadhead would make good hires and move athletics into a better place.

I noticed NO ONE, including Woodward, seemed to have a problem with John Bel Edwards appearing at the Heisman Trophy ceremony...as if he had ANYTHING to do with Joe Burrow or LSU football in general.
If that's how Wooward feels, that's fine. But don't be a hypocrite.
It's not like O invited Trump to come hang out at LSU or mandated that each player swear an allegiance to Trump or they would not be able to play. He made an off-hand comment about the POTUS who had, himself, been very complementary of Orgeron and the LSU program.

He hasn’t had to make a hire
Alleva hired Trent Johnson and Johnny Jones
His best Basketball hire was Wade and he did his best to frick that up.
Not to mention despite recommending Les get fired in 2013, he is getting a pass on the AD at best being clueless on their title IX responsibilities beyond drugs tests. And he got Les a co tract extension while all the sexual harassment was going on.
Compare that to Woodard who’s biggest crime was giving Assistant coaches the exact same contract Alleva was giving out and telling O to stay out of politics after O absolutely stepped
in shite.
