If you're a coach who's success is somewhat dependent on black athletes, regardless of who you like politically, last year was not the year to publicize or support publicly. It's so far from reality but perception is reality... This is why a lot of white people don't get it but the extreme ends resulted in many black people perceiving this type of support as equivalent to reviving and joining the KKK.
Add Bo Pelini to the mix and you've got a 'pressure cooker' waiting to blow.

This has been a surprise to me, but Woodward has been a disaster as AD. He should have shut his fricking mouth about this and should instead actually do his fricking job. I couldn't care less about politics, but Orgeron can support whoever the hell he wants. Mind your business.

Woodward had his eyes on the LSU's Chancellor job with Jay Dardenne being the President and promote Verge to AD job.
Why do you think Woodward took a lateral move from A&M? His love of LSU? Really?
Plan started unraveling when COVID hit and splitting F King's job into 2 went sideways. Woodward thinks of himself as way beyond an AD. He is a liberal arse. Alleva sucked at an all time level.
Woodward is bright but is a political animal at heart and leans hard to the left. This is why you see Woodward continuing to spew his opinion in non athletic arenas.
