Eye of the beholder I guess.
I see great hires in football, baseball, and women’s basketball.
Woodward is doing an excellent job as LSU AD. He’s Probably the best AD we’ve ever had here actually, and it’s not really close. I do agree he made a bad men’s basketball hire. It happens…No one bats a thousand on hires. I’m glad men’s basketball was the bad hire, and not football or baseball.
Anyone that thinks Woodward is a bad AD doesn’t have a clue how the organization works.

Will Wade, imo, is the best CBB in the country.

but man want a colossal eff up for getting rid of Wade.
If only there was a valid reason like the coach was on tape openly violating what were at the time the rules

Nah, there more action than someone throwing a ball every 30-60 seconds

Name another coach other than maybe Rick Pitino who could take McNeese to the tournament?
LSU admin collapsed under media pressure to get rid of Wade.

College basketball is a terrible product. I’ll ignore your hyperbole but counter you with there being a whistle for every 30 seconds of game time. It’s only interesting because of the unpredictable nature of the tournament.
Based on your post, you just don’t like the sport of baseball in general. It has nothing to do with college baseball, specifically.

Great underwater basket weaving hire too
Womens basketball, baseball, and gymnastics are at least all in top 5 sports on campus.

Let’s bring back Joe Dean.

Any school would cave when a coach is caught giving a player’s fiancé money from his and his wife’s own joint checking account. No coach would survive that.

LSU should have at least 2 more. BK was a terrible hire.
So BK should have won a national title in at least 2 of the 3 years he’s been here? That’s quite a take

Someone from the Southland conference makes the tournament every year.
I was going to say… the great Steve Lutz

Woodward has his faults, but he also hired two coaches that won championships under his watch.
He fell arse backwards into having the luxury of a HOF WBB coach in her prime who was not only a native of Louisiana, but had a son prominently attend the school.
Johnson is promising. There is reason to believe he’s going to be really good. But you can’t completely ignore the fact 6 of the 9 hitters in the NC lineup were veteran players originally signed by Mainieri. Last year there were only a few Mainieri holdovers and LSU and he tied for the fewest SEC wins over the previous 13 seasons. His best performance at Arizona was his first season with a lot of Andy Lopez holdovers.
This is the first year the teams is fully his. He can either put to rest any discussion that he’s only great with the benefit of another HCs players…or bring that argument out from just a whisper

Do you not see the Texas Ranger logo next to my name?
Besides the NHL, I probably watch the MLB more than any other sports league.
College baseball moves entirely too slow. Plus half the teams they play don't give a shite about baseball. Half the SEC has glorified high school stadiums
ETA: Most of the best baseball players out of high school don't even go to college. Its just a bad product. The current LSU Roster may have 3-4 players tops that will ever sniff a Major League roster spot

You literally made all of this up in your head

That was true 10 years ago. Not anymore. 9 of the top 10 (and first eight) draft picks this past year were from college baseball
