I'm not sure if it's the injury or just her youth but ADR plays like she is uncomfortable in her own body. Some bigs play with a confidence and agility that helps them be successful down low, but ADR just seems almost awkward in some of her movements. You can't coach size but I sure hope the coaches can get her out of her shell and feeling more confident about herself.

Final score:
LSU 117
Alexandria 37

8 of 13 played game, starting 5 looks good. Flaujae is our best scorer, quick and excellent body control. Morrow had normal double double. Fr Richard had another good game, she will only get better as she gains experience. Smith looks good, acl not slowing her down. Gilbert looks quick, scoring machine. Hope Sheppard's injury not too serious, she is quick and good on defense. Hope Poa returns soon. Wolfenbarger looks little rusty in the post. Del Rosario looks slow, needs to work on her footwork.

What's wrong with Izzy's heart? She can have mine if she needs it.

Gonna be some bumped recruiting board threads about her in the future

If I remember correctly, she wasn’t highly recruited.

Apparently she had some sort of viral infection a couple months ago and it is still affecting her heart and they still can't figure it out...I think I saw/heard that she has been to 4 different cardiologists.

Is she a swifty? If so then "She can do it with a broken heart."

Sorry guys, I saw the opportunity and I went with it.

I think it's gonna be difficult to evaluate Del Rosario because she's been injured and coming off another surgery. Give her a couple of months to get back into game shape. In the meantime, she does give us a big body, albeit not all that agile as of right now.

It seems we’re falling into a pattern of looking bathysphere deep then injuries and stupid unforeseen shite has us looking thin. Sheppard hurt, Poa with visa problems, then ADR hurt all summer and out of shape and apparently not progressing at all. She is trending toward being another Hannah Gusters and could transfer to a shite program where size alone makes her a player at a lower level.

Jada Richard looks good. I hope she can be effective in SEC play to make up for some of the injuries and off-court drama.

Poa would not be the starting point guard but still an essential depth piece. I know it’s a different kind of drama than with her buddy Kateri Poole, but let’s hope the end result is not the same where she’s gone for good. I could see her sitting out this season to fight the visa problems then feeling she needs to transfer to start at a weaker program “for more NIL opportunities and to showcase her talent for the WNBA draft.” No, I don’t think that’s the best move for her, but you know how these kids think, especially with “advisors” in their ear.

And let’s hope MKW only has a minor ankle sprain and day to day doesn’t become week to week—or that the ankle hinders her all year.

Just seems like freak injuries and stupid off court drama hinder our depth.

I am impressed with how well we have been shooting in these two exhibition games. And Williams was not even playing and she is a bigtime shooter. Smith has a better shot that Angel has/had. I think Wolfenbarger has a soft shooting touch as well.
