Dan Wolken understands the issue. It is the opposite of what Forde and Dick Vitale have done. This is some bull crap that our AD is such a large pile of burning dog shite.

He’s still Dan Wolken, right or wrong.

Looks like Kansas gives no fricks about the "overwhelming negativity" and "exhaustion" brought about by their NCAA investigation

If Kansas wins, I can’t imagine how awkward it will be for the NCAA to give him that trophy lol

The ncaa is a hall monitor. They’ll write you a detention slip, but if you don’t show up nothing happens. Unless of course you actually show up.

But muh plausible deniability!

This is what most rational fans have been saying the whole time.

So, Wolken understands the issue, yet you are still angry that Wade got fired?

You realize Wolken would be for Wade being fired?

Kansas also doesn’t give two shits about their football program. I don’t know why we have to continue to beat a dead horse over this, but Woodward wasn’t going to keep toying with the NCAA with the football program at risk, ESPECIALLY not for a coach he did not want to keep around.

Simple fact is that Will Wade wasn’t a good enough coach for LSU and Scott Woodward to put up with the negative press and sanctions.

You fanboys need to go die on another hill because this one is just sad

Correct, we showed up and then fired our coach.

Unlike with LSU, the NCAA couldn't threaten to ruin KU's football program. You can't ruin what's already a dumpster fire.

This should be talked about much more than Will Wade & LSU.

Same goes for Arizona and Sean Miller who was just rehired at Xavier.

You don’t get it. The NCAA has no power, none, zero, against football programs now. After OU and Georgia sued them, they were left with nothing.

The big conference schools (ie SEC & Big Ten) run college football now. Not the freaking NCAA.

This is correct. The risk analysis for keeping Self, K, Calipari, etc. is worth it. Not so much with Will Wade. HE is not in a category with these other coaches.

This is a horeshit line of thinking. Either coaches need to be fired or they don't. It is BS for people to argue that, "Oh, well, you see, um, it's different b/c Self is a good coach." Wade would have gotten this team to the 16 and would have been ranked Top 5 going into next season but he isn't a "good enough coach" for Woodward to defend.
