No I really hope lsu can continue the success. It sucked badly to lose to fla state 2 years ago because we couldn't hit shiate.

We didn't hit shite vs the shitty teams either that year. That's why people think this year may be different.

Man - have a little fun why don't you.
Here's my take... Over the last few years, we've lost to these types of teams. We're trying lots of things and seeing a ton of promise.

We made several defensive errors and couldn't hit through that season, we've had a few better teams that didn't make the cws because we couldn't win a game 1-0, 2-1, 3-2....in 2017 poche/Lange gave lsu this ability...luckily we rode those two like 2 dollar whores in Tijuana during the season and post season. ....lsu won a bunch of low scoring a games that year...
I don't know if you're slow or just old and rambling.
Everyone knows you can't win the CWS without good pitching.
I'm curious as to what teams during the CPM era were better than 2017's team with pitching and hitting that didn't make the CWS. Please enlighten us.

Lsu's 10 sec opponents record thru March 3rd is 68-14
Ok. Now do the combined record of their opponents.
After a cursory glance, Tennessee has 2 losses to 3-4 Indiana State. And wins over 3-5 Georgia Southern, 0-7 UAPB, and 1-6 Austin Peay. That's a combined record of 7-22.
Something tells me most big time programs are in a similar boat right now.
ETA: Hell, I'll do it for you. Combined opponent records:
Alabama - 19-17
Arkansas - 18-14
Auburn - 14-21
Kentucky - 10-16
MSU - 26-23
Ole Miss - 26-24
SCAR - 8-12
Tennessee - 7-22
TAMU - 29-29
Vandy - 7-15

Has anyone discussed the fact that both 'whoa' and 'horses' is misspelled in the title?

So wait. Do midweek games matter or not? I need to know before we get too far in the season

Are you one of those fans that bitches when we lose to teams like this as well? Pick one side or the other. The young guys are stepping up/getting reps and they’re playing well as a team. That is what you look for right now and it’s what they’re doing. I agree that the real test comes in conference, but I feel like that would be the case every year. Right now, keep getting better and keep winning the games they’re supposed to.

There is little doubt in my mind that our offensive numbers will plummet in the SEC. But our pitching should be very strong. I think we're good enough to split our first 18 SEC games. Hopefully the freshmen get it together by then, and we'll go on a streak after that.

ou do realize that the SEC is LOADED this year.
National Raknings:
Arkansas #1
Vanderbilt #2
Miss St #3
Ole Miss #4
UF #6
sec is loaded every year. I think perhaps lsu has fallen some under these programs in the last few years. We have not risen since 2017.
Which of those teams we have "fallen behind" have "risen since 2017"?

I'd rather be 10 and 6 battle tested against great programs than 15-1 against high school.
Why would you rather have more losses? You realize how many freshman lsu is fielding? A win is a win is a win... and the more W’s the more confidence. Confidence and good team morale is probably the greatest contributing factor to a successful team/season..
No one ((a real fan I should say)) should ever try to downplay their teams winning streak; much less so when said team needs all the confidence and experience they can get right now; fielding so many kids never having played ANY college ball whatsoever.
