Orgeron is going nowhere and he shouldn't. STFU.

Same here, because I'm a fan and there's no reason to think we will not see improvement this year

Certainly not this year. After that remains to be seen.

Every year he has addressed a need. Kicking game, punting

Was the kicking game bad under Miles?

And Tracy was a one year stopgap. It remains to be seen how that will look this year.

Was punting bad? Von Rosenberg joined the team under Miles.

quarterback. We were on a decline with Miles.

Etling was a Miles guy. Brennen was a Miles guy. Burrow is a Meyer guy that O onlubhad to beat out Cincinnati to get.

And just like Tracy we have no idea if the QB position will be any better once the already prepped Burrow is gone. Brennen is a Miles recruit after all.

It also seems the 2 best coaches are in place and will stay there for awhile. So they along with other schools going all in on football will make it more difficult to succeed

Was it easier to succeed when Miles was fired for essentially the same results that O has gotten

Hey man, there's a guy on this site that goes by the handle "Buckeye jeaux",ever heard of him?

yeah, guy loves LSU, but doesn't seem very bright.

I made a thread about WR depth chart and trying to make my point to him I felt like I was talking to a child.

seems nice enough though.

the “modern day offense” hasn’t hit the field yet in a real game. Again, I work off of facts. If I see it this season, I’ll believe it. But not until then.

And post here constantly on all 20 of his accounts. Don’t forget about that.

well that's wonderfully vague.

Not really

But nothing will convince people who don't want to believe. It will play out. I like what I'm seeing this year

I can't believe people are so dense and can't see that the football program is in good hands.

So, the last two years under Miles his SEC record was:

9-7

Orgeron's two year full season SEC record is:

11-5

How is that not an improvement in the SEC?

I’m not saying oust him day 1 but his leash is a lot shorter with a new AD

This is 0s year and he’s much better when threatened so maybe the rumblings for Woodward to get his own coach is the best thing to get the best out of 0. He’d better give Brady a lot of responsibility and control and stay out of the offensive game plan and play calling because this is his make or break season.

What are you talking about? Orgeron has done his job. Many would say he’s done it above expectations and the program is in a steady incline. GTFO!

Woodward has a lot of work to do to get our program back on track

A 4 loss season followed by a 3 loss season and finishing 3rd in the sec West is not doing ones job at LSU

I promise you Ed O is not a happy camper today. My guess is he will want that extension inked ASAP

Yep But we haven't gone 8-5 Take Orgerons 34 games, compare to Les's last 34 games. Compare the records and see if there is improvement

That's a false equivalency. The football coach isn't supposed to be at the end of his tenure.

Compare apples to apples, the current coach first 3 years to the first 3 years of Saban and Miles's careers.

Time for at least an SEC championship run, or he's in trouble.

You’d have to be an idiot to want to fire O right now.

I didn’t like the hire either. As a matter of fact I hated it but as of now he’s doing a pretty damn good job

7 losses in two seasons and a 3rd place finish in the West is not a damn good job

If O loses 3 or more games this year he should and now will likely be let go

9-3 or 8-4 under Alleva would have had him as the LSU coach forever. Just look at the sentiment in this thread. Alleva and O have done a great job of lowering expectations

When Orgeron gets us in the CFB playoff this season, y'all will regret your postings for the past two plus years.

Do you honestly think that O liked Alleva after Alleva sabotaged him?

Out of all p5 ADs Alleva was the only one going to make him a head coach

He loves the guy
