Hell no. Not anymore. Five years ago might’ve been a different story in terms of age.

But BK is “cooking with gasoline“ in 2024

I think that our guys have a better quality of life than Bama's boys and I'd keep BK as well.

It’s best to ask this question after a loss. You’ll get some passionate and objective responses.

No

Saban has set the standard incredibly high. He's not hitting that standard as of late. Getting old sucks.

No way. BK beat Saban his first year and he has turned this roster around quickly, and continues to bring in great talented kids. BTW, Saban is getting old. A few years ago we had a choice between Miles and Saban or O and Saban, which would have been a no brainer.

I think BK is just as good a coach as Saban as he proved it at all schools he coached, but he just never had the talent to win the big games, but he will have that talent at LSU. By the 2025 class, we will be back with Bama, Georgia and Ohio State on talent level. We need to hit on big bad arse Def. Lineman and OL from the high school ranks, 4-5 for each year to get back to developing high school kids and not to rely too much on the portal. However, the portal will be there to add quality players when needed. Also, to get DBU back, recruits like Ondre from Tenn. is guys we need to get.

Agreed. He’s arguably one of the best ever but has started to slide.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him retire but become some sort of “analyst” for ESPN or something.

I think he genuinely has to be around the sport. I can’t see him walking away from it cold turkey.

Dude STFU! Move to Alabama if you’re still so pathetically obsessed with Saban

Nope. I respect them both (and honored that they’ve both worn purple & gold) but Nick is on the back-end of his career.

I’ll be very impressed if he’s [Saban] able to successfully transition back to the ground and pound game.

It requires a total reset in regards to recruitment strategy, practice setup, etc.

Nick is nearing the end of the his reign. Getting old sucks but it beats the alternative

Consider this done. Now, will they win 11 or 12 regular season games doing this? That is the question.
