Let's be real here, I go to Tiger Stadium to see LSU play.

Lets really be real.
It was Furman and most people don't want to LSU vs. a highschool team. So in reality, you are in the minority.

Absolutely terrible. Why even buy tickets?

I say thank you to them because I got badass tickets for free, parking was easy, and there was barely any traffic after the game. And since this was one of my only chances to be in town for a game this season, I thought it was awesome as hell and worked out great for me.

Also, anyone that wanted to go to the game could have bought tickets or got them for free outside the stadium, so where were all the people who normally are bitching about not getting tickets? They should have gone to this game.

I love how people can single out this one section as the issue when there are huge sections of empty seats literally everywhere in the stadium.

If wanting to see my Tigers play football puts me in the minority, I'm terrified for the future of our program.

This isn't a baseball or basketball season. We have SEVEN home games. SEVEN.

I went to the game.

My buddy played football at Furman.

It was fricking hilarious when they went ahead.

Some LSU fans get so pissy at the littlest things.

Hey I'm with you. I was there. I stayed. But we are in the minority. The reality is that most people don't care to see Furman

These games are good for bringing women, children, grandparents, etc.

I completely agree. We showed up, sat in pretty good seats in the Tiger Terrace, and stayed until the end. So what if it was only Furman? It was still LSU on the other side of the ball.

The fact that it was homecoming is the only reason TS wasn't completely empty. If Furmam came to play on a random Saturday night, no one would go.

ETA: You must have really been bored at the game if you had time to take a picture of the crowd and note how much time was on the game clock. How about you just enjoy the game with the people you're with and stop thinking about the thread you're gonna start on Monday morning.

Yeah we have a block of 8 in the East Upper. My parents and uncle didn't want to go so my cousin brought his wife and kids. They were running around and all but they were there. Train em young. I have good memories as a kid running around in the west upper when they had tickets over there and that's when my fandom started.

Student Section looked pretty good til half.. Well after seeing Hugos pics I guess not.

Those pictures couldn't have been 1st quarter though. Game started at 6 and it doesn't get that dark til like 7:30

Lets not forget the size of the student section was reduced by like 6 sections for this game.

Yeah I brought a new girlfriend (no pics) and we had a good time. (Last year I brought my daughter to Towson)
Honestly, the weather was absolutely perfect Saturday and I had a great time. My only complaint is that I wish we would bring in a LA school if we are going to pay some cupcake. Why not keep that money in state. Hell, bring Southern and keep it all local. With the attendance issues LSU is having, and all the problems Southern is having, it seems like a win-win to bring them in.
