so one game won't bring you back (not saying it should), but one game made you jump off. Gotcha

That's what I like about you LSU negative Nancys. You were on the bandwagon until ONE loss made you jump off? One? Ole Miss LAST YEAR? That's it? One crappy loss.
And now you want what(?) to get back on the bandwagon? Maybe the bandwagon is better off without your sorry arse.

never ever off the bandwagon!!
& Yes it is more fun winning with Les. Saban wouldn't let you enjoy chit. He'd preach to the media about moving on...blah blah. Miles doesn't do any of that .

with Saban you get mantra:
process relative to playing up to capabilities in terms of where we are and where we want to be. then after losses he bashes the team or individual players and says the players and fans are too outcome fixated.
with Miles you get heart and soul, win or lose:
"I took it very humbly. I'm honored by that presentation. I accepted it with the spirit with which it was delivered, but I have to be honest with you. The gifts that I'm given by that team were in their preparation, how they come to work everyday, how they are committed to the team, how they step onto the field and do hard things. They play violent football at risk of injury for their team and for their school. The gift that I'm given is to be allowed to be on the sideline with them and coach them. I'm honored in many ways when I take the field with that football team."

i'll give him credit for the Bama win because he deserves it, but the man has coached 5 good halves of football since 2008 and has humiliated himself and LSU on numerous occasions with his buffonery. great win, Les.....but hope to see you in Boulder next year.
Miles & the staff did an outstanding job getting the team prepared for Bama. They should be able to do this on a weekly basis instead of rolling a team out there that executes about as well as a sandlot team.
It's much more fun to win playing to your potential than sqeak out wins because you play to the level of your competition.

let me be specific, one loss.....which became a national embarassment and joke.....made me jump off of the LES MILES bandwagon, not LSU. i'm not the only one who realized that LSU has an idiot coaching LSU after that debacle. it waqsn't just a loss, it was national humiliation.

it wasn't just a loss, it was national humiliation.
There was a time when fans were 'humiliated' by a coach or team, and that humiliation went all around town and back!!! Then after the week was over, it was gametime again. The problem now is that when fans are 'humiliated', it goes on the World Wide Web and back!!! The MEDIA feeds off of this negative fan reaction...and the humiliation grows, and the fans feed off of the media, and so on and so on:
CATCH 22!!!
As fans We need to take responsibility in this media embarrassment! If we had let it be, the media would have moved on to some other embarrasing moment in football.
But, we are passionate fans, who haven't learned the art of keeping our "negative" passion away from the media. I myself almost gave into it after the Tennessee catastrophe...I said "almost".
Yes it is indeed embarrassing, but compared to the wonderful PRIDE that we are all capable of showing, it is a shame that we are willing to portray the LSU fan base is such a negative way! The world is watching, not just your neighbors and fellow fans. If fans would take in the entire picture instead of a day to day MEDIA circus....the glory far outways the gloom.
FANS need to understand that everytime someone throws out all this bull about our coach, the MEDIA gets it...loud and clear, and we are the biggest contributors to it.

I totally agree winning is more fun with Les.
Week after week, big play after big play Miles shows emotion, he gets fired up, he speaks his own language, he gets the players excited, and of coarse he eats grass.
Saban on the other hand is a downer. Take for example last year. Bama is about to win the ship, the players and fans are obviously excited. The players do the traditional pour the gatorade on the coach. When they poured the gatorade on Saban he looked so extremely pissed he wanted to kill someone. Post game celebration all that he looked like he had just lost a child. How as a player and a fan do you get excited when you see the head coaching reacting like that.

This.
Everyone needs to realize this is the first week in about 2 months that we haven't been the subject of mockery everywhere you turn in regards to college football.

Im the last person to take up for Saban...but they did almost knock his arse out with that bucket.

A "national embarassment"?
We are talking bout 18-22 years olds playing a college football game...right.
You might need to take a chill pill and try to lighten up just a tad.

Ah but there in lies the myth. Saban didn't just steamroll team when he was here. Sure as all good programs do they win some that way but with Saban it was get the early lead and then watch the other team wittle away at it in the second half only to come up short. Frustrating as hell.

Jesus Christ, it looks like I have to spell it out for you....L-E-S M-I-L-E-S made LSU a national embarassment after OM in '09 with his chromosome deficient antics, NOT the players.

Abe Vigoda or Ben Stein could be the HC and a win by the Tigers would still be exciting. Maybe not as crazy as with Les, but still exciting.
