Ree, you need to let it go. I have disagreed often with Rickdaddy but he posted something very positive about this special season.
This season should have healed whatever wounds were caused by the coaching change and search. With or without a title surely Orgeron has silenced even his worse critics or skeptics. He deserves all the credit he has received.
Let's just enjoy what an amazing ride this has been and I include O's entire tenure. There are a handful of plays would have made his record even more remarkable. He's our coach!!

Really was an amazing move to see a guy like Brady with the saints and to take the risk and give him such a large voice on your coaching staff especially since the noise around you was starting to get louder.

Absolutely and then to trust the offensive staff completely after not showing that ability in the past. It's been repeated nationally that this was the biggest offensive turnaround in history, but Orgeron made a huge turnaround in coaching philosophy. Can't overstate how impressive that is.

Great post! I totally agree. I’m an LSU fan living in GA so it especially sweet to see us beat the bulldogs for the second year in a row! I thought we had a really good chance to go 11-1 with a loss to bama. This year has exceeded all of my wildest dreams! So thankful for this year! Geaux Tigers!

It was an article by the owner of the LSU 24/7 site. That is what he titled it and it pretty much proves my point that the ratings for recruits is not the be all and end of a recruiting class.
But it is also interesting to see that 7 or 8 of the lowest rated recruits over the last 10 years have played in the NFL. With Foster Moreau being the most recent and Lloyd Cushenberry and Justin Jefferson about to join him.

O was not a popular hire and many were let down by it initially. I was in the number that thought we may should cut bait after the Troy debacle. I saw how he clashed with Canada, worried it’d be more of the same as it was with Miles highjacking the offensive game plan and cutting the knees out of the OC. The majority of us had our doubts. The majority of us leaned towards wanting him gone after Troy. O has proven all of us wrong. Don’t get your reasoning to take over a thread about how special this season has been and bring up shitting on threads from days gone by. shite is in the past. We’re just over 30 hours from the biggest day in LSU football since 1/9/12. Savor it.
