Think about what ? There are posters who actually start entire threads defending Orgerons job performance and coaches like Johnny Jones/Nikki Fargas and those same posters pop in every thread to criticize Coach Wade.
Thoughts on that ?
Thoughts on that ?

There is literally not a single down vote (at this time). Are you a moron?

Kind of everything that has been talked about here.
They have good players. The question is how quickly can they gel as a team.
This could be a better team than last season and still finish lower in the SEC. That is how good the league is this year. Anywhere from 7-9 NCAAT teams.
They are still going to be more perimeter oriented (in the opinion of John Brady). Everyone looks at Reid as a 6'10 traditional big man. He is in many ways offensively, but likes to play more in space outside. IMO, he has the same type of game as Duop Reath. The plus side is the offense. The down side is don't EXPECT him to be a great shot blocker or rebounder. Those aren't his strengths.
Vast improvement on the defensive end MUST happen. Stop talking about it. Do it!!
Really good insight as to how they got Tari Eason. Wade had never heard of him before he entered the portal, but the analytics company LSU uses for evaluation graded him out as a potential All SEC player. They didn't know how they could recruit him because he is from Seattle. But it turns out he and Bradley Ezewiro lived together for a bit...that was LSU's "in". Just goes to show you in many cases recruiting is ALL about connections.
Wade talks a lot about Brandon Murray again. Specifically about how hard he plays and that he led all of prep school in scoring. Could be the steal of the recruiting class.
Wade talks about needing that guy that no one else has on the court who can make the plays that give you an extra 2-3 possessions...which is often the difference between a win and a loss. In the past that was a guy like Marlon Taylor who was just so athletic he could get a rebound or make a play no one else can make. Talks briefly about maybe Wilkinson can be that guy for this team. IMO, Wilkinson is athletic enough to grab those 2 or 3 rebounds that change the game. Another candidate is Gaines with his ability to create steals. The best defensive year LSU has had under Wade was, not coincidentally, the year Tremont was among the nation's leaders in steals. LSU wasn't a tremendous defensive team overall (or good defensive rebounding team). It's just that Tremont literally stole possessions away from the opponent. LSU won countless close games that season. A big reason is because those steals took the possessions the opponent may have otherwise scored on and won the game.
Wade's consistency has created great expectations. But they should probably be tempered to start the season. Because of so many new faces everywhere (not just at LSU) we probably won't have a clear picture of the true contenders until mid-January (at least)

Pinson has gotten bigger and is a really good passer and ball handler. Cuts the seam we. Miller can shoot and score from anywhere. The transfer from Cincinnati is a good get
. Fudge will be good , Reid has a killer shot.. and Days has gotten slimmer. I'm excited

Listening to a Wade interview vs. an Orgeron interview is night and day. Orgeron is just a walking platitude bot. He doesn't understand anything that is going on in great detail other than recruiting.
Wade, on the other hand, is almost too detailed. He mindlessly rattles off stats like 70% of all SEC games are won/lost by a total of 3 possessions. He knows the second chance point % of the 8th guy off the bench for Centenary.
Wade hasn't been perfect...but he makes you believe he can figure out what is necessary to get there.
Orgeron just kind of hopes to fall arse backwards into success with a grand scheme of giving each day of practice some kind of catchy name.

Wade always has all these "great recruits," yet at the end of the season LSU is not in the Top 25 Final Rankings.
Therefore, these teams are not living up to their potential.
This is all I ask for: strong arse recruits, strong arse season
Don't give me this "we did X in the SEC." I want and demand NCAA national rankings and respect.
