actually I don't disagree with anything you said I just don't like talking about politics on this board I tried to avoid it and I also believe that millions/billions of dollars will outweigh idiot governors who want to play politics with sports

“most of those universities cannot afford to lose millions and millions of dollars on Lost revenue from having no fans in the stands it will sort of speak Trump that gash governor in Michigan”
————————————————————
Not sure what that means. Look dick head, elections matter, ignorance is what has gotten us where we are now. Democrats are preaching that nothing will ever be the same again. Believe them. I say bullshifft! People need to stand up for the truth! Who you got?

Best thing about not ever playing football again is, LSU won the last Natty!

Not really sure how this became a gender battle. Sounds like someone's having a little trouble on the home front.

It’s naive to think stadiums will be at capacity.

Stadiums will be maybe 25-50% full at best
All those people will wait in line to get into the game, be next to each other in the concourses, in the bathroom and concession lines, walking up and down the aisles to get to their seats.
The concept of social distancing in football stadiums is really not as realistic as people make it out to be.
ETA: I believe there will be fans at certain sporting events by some time in July.

Right too much money involved. We will have a season with all fans or some. We good! GEAUX TIGERS!

So we aren’t going to open up the country, which is costing the US trillions of dollars, but we’re going to have football. How do you reconcile that in your Fat Bastard brain? Voting democrat has consequences. Ignorance is not ok anymore. Ignoring things doesn’t make them go away. C’mon man!

If we have a vaccine or a proven therapeutic treatment, it's on like donky kone bro.

Games will be played with fans.

Football is obviously a possibility. Fans in stands is not happening. That can be said 100% for sure because the virus will be here in the fall too. With fans traveling from out of state into seats of 80k+ fans...yeah, that's not happening. It would be a nightmare for them to quarantine and track everyone at that game and who they came into contact with. Multiply that x how many college games going on. That's a pipe dream. Anyone who says otherwise is ignorant.
They'd probably have to test with 15 minute testing before every game before that's a possibility too and if someone is infected, game gets canceled. I don't think we're going to get a full season of football this year or at the very least, if it does happen it will be a clusterfrick when teams have to quarantine. What are we going to do? Play with half a conference?
If anyone thinks they won't quarantine then you're also ignorant. Before anyone responds other sports are doing it now think about how they're doing it. How many sports are going on right now with 200+ personnel on the sidelines huddled up? Nascar you're in a car. You don't interact much with anyone. UFC is 1v1. etc. NCAA and NFL are going to shut the entire sport down when 1 team gets quarantined just like what happened in NBA. Just going to have to bite the bullet for this season I think, unfortunately. Hope all goes well and we can have a full season with nobody getting sick. Seems unrealistic though.
Also, keep in mind the testing is not 100% right now. It gives false positives off. It would be a miracle if we saw a completely unhindered football season.

Thanks for your honesty. Don’t think that’s what we should do, but unless we, as a country come to terms with the fact that life has risk, and give individuals the freedom to choose, our government will choose for us. So open up everything, if you want to participate in life do, if you don’t fine.
When fans are no longer in the stands, you’ll be amazed how quickly football goes away. The energy and excitement won’t be there, players won’t play anymore. It will go away faster than you can imagine. Slippery slope. Virtual reality for all, and no one gets hurt! And everyone gets a medal.

I don’t see anyway they allow packed out stadiums
I think it’s BS but I don’t see how anyone can think that will happen with everything we’ve seen so far

So if the democrats are trying to destroy the economy(and they are), why would they allow something that generates money(they won’t). You either don’t understand democrats, or you are one of them. Think.

Wrong board dude.

So this is the sports board, right. But we aren’t playing sports, right. Should we even have a sports board if we don’t even play sports?
Look people like fitting in, I get that. You want to be cool and politically correct, awesome. But there comes a time in ones life when a man has to stand up for what is right. You know the truth, and if you don’t, you need to find out. You’re about to lose more than just football.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - no football in the fall.
And it gives me no pleasure to say it, because college football in the fall is the best part of the year.
But I just don't see it happening. Hope I'm wrong.

False. Countless coaches and players have put on the record that they will play without fans in the stands.
An average of 16.5 million people tune in to an NFL game and an average of 66,151 actually attend the game.
25,000,000 people watched LSU Clemson and 74,000 people were at the game.
So 99.6% of fans aren't going to the games anyway. Saying football will go away without fans in the stands is not based in fact but feeling. And given how you've already made clear how you feel about Democrats, women and probably anyone else that isn't like you, your feelings don't represent most people and fortunately don't represent how others will decide on how to handle this situation.
Football isn't going anywhere whether there are fans in the stands or not. Which btw would only be a temporary situation anyway. Its not end of days here. Relax
