And he’s evolved, he’s gone from a very offensive sided, analytical approach to now being a hyper aggressive defensive guy as far as style goes so you don’t need blue blood talent to win with that style. Now he’s still not playing big enough IMO, you look at the dominant teams, Michigan, UConn’s championship teams, Florida with Chinnyelu etc, they have giant bigs who can lock down the circle and I think Wade needs to change in that regard. But if you have him, he keeps getting in and has time to settle he’s not someone who’s going to be bullish about changing to advance.

And that’s for anyone we get, it doesn’t have to be Wade. LSU isn’t Kansas or Duke, we have to lean into models that can work for LSU.

Im not a basketball guy. I just know the basketball fans want to win and are tired of losing. Maybe this is their way of coping about wanting Wafe because he "won" while here and it was an exciting time. I've known Verge a long, long time. I can tell you that he will listen to all he allows to give him good info and advice and weigh all of the options out together and get the best guy for the job if and when the job comes open.

The difference is NC St gives a shite about basketball, and LSU doesn't. That's reason #1 to not leave.

People do not wish to accept this fact. We need a coach who can win titles

ON POINT! I can’t recall ever seeing McMahon get in front of a camera and promote his program. He just wants to coach, you need to be a salesman this day. Plus I think his assistants are below par

Me too. My nephew still talks about that night. I loved watching the students have to be ushered filling the rows because they actually showed up. That’s what Wade coming back does instantly.

He said Wade wouldn't be as effective in this full blown NIL Era which those players your referring to may not have made it to LSU

Wade will absolutely field bigger teams from now on. He discussed this a good bit over the last couple months. NC St had a big they liked but the NIL money fell through and the kid went to Kansas. Hopefully he’s still pissed about it. Still though, you’re right, they were too small.

Will Wade acted like his team this season was a total disgrace to the game of basketball. He hated them. They won 20 games and made the tournament. The current coach couldn’t put a team like that together if his life depended on it.
