Sounds like Bishop is going to get a lot of minutes the way Wade keeps going out of his way to praise him. Might see a few small ball lineups, against teams we matchup up with, where he even starts a few games.

I think that's extremely wishful thinking.
Naz averaged 14/7 as a true freshman (with other great rebounders on the team) with a PER of just under 20.
What frustrated people about Naz was the inconsistency and the lack of post moves. But he still had a great freshman season. I dont see how Watford will be a "significant upgrade" over those numbers

Less turnovers. As Wade said, Watford gets the ball to the right person. That should make the offense more explosive and more consistent.

Watford is more of a 3 so he isn’t exactly what we need down low. He at least needs someone next to him that isn’t 6’6” like emmitt

Yea, I don't see a significant upgrade either, but he will be an 'upgrade'. Trendon can score in the post better than Naz and he is a better ball handler. The 'upgrade' will be more so from an IQ stand point than a physical one. This team is going to be very good, hardened, tough to beat, they've went through the fire and came out the other side. Can't wait. All we need is that rim protector.

Watford and Reid are just different players.
Watford needs to get better from the FT line and shooting jumpers. Watford is much better as a ball handler than Reid and is a lot more agile knifing into the lane for buckets.

It’s coming. They are supposed to be remodeling and adding on some to basketball ops/practice facility to add strength and conditioning area and coaches’ offices. Not sure if their own nutrition place will be added to there or not. I assume they will have a smaller nutrition station for snacks, smoothies, etc., kind of like what was added to baseball facility just completed. But the players will likely use the new nutrition area just added to football ops for their meals.

Yea, and Naz, for some reason, seemed to fall a lot when driving with the ball. HIs legs seemed weak at times. Man, if Wade gets a legit rim protector the caliber of KBW, this team will be nearly unstoppable.
