Increasing the teams nutrition. Team seemed to wear down towards the end of the season.

Very excited to have Nickelberry on the staff. He brings a lot to the table. Turned down quite a few jobs to come to LSU.

Tasmin Mitchell has done a tremendous job! He knows a lot of people in the state and that he can recruit very well and is well respected. He has worked with Emmitt Williams a lot this summer and Williams is primed for a break out season.

Possibly looking to add somebody or somebodies to replace Bigby-Williams. They have four or five irons in the fire. They waiting to see how the academics play out. They can sign one now and another in December and bring someone in mid year to help in SEC play. Or sign two now. They looking to add height.

He is very very confident in Emmitt Williams. Very please with him.

Watford has great vision and makes the correct decision about 98% of the time. He can get the rebound and push the ball up the court. He is a huge piece of this team.

Bisop is a very hard worker and will go and get the ball. He is a real player and they may have underestimated his talent. He will score a lot of points.

Manning brings athleticism and is a defensive minded player. Self made player. Very tough and gets after it defensively.

That part didnt really make any sense to me, kind of a desperation plea in way. I think they are still putting a lot of eggs in the N'Faly Dante basket. I hope they at least pickup someone like Sebit Reath from JUCO who is still available (maybe the academics guy they are waiting on as well). He isn't a high quality starter by any means but is a skilled 6'10 player we really could use.

I just caught the back end of the interview, but he absolutely gushed over Bishop. Even to the point where he said "I love Bishop, if you can't already tell."

Obviously Mays can shift to PG when Smart is out, but it sounds like Bishop is going to get a lot of minutes off the bench at the backup PG spot.

He mentioned something about grades. I took that as he has someone he wants to bring in, but thinks he might need an extra semester to get his stuff together.

It’s a desperate situation. They have no prototypical paint anchor

I do really hope we get a rim protector. KBW was one of the most valuable players on last year's squad.

That said, I think our perimeter defense will be a lot better this year with Manning. As much as I loved the steals that Tremont could get, he was pretty much boom or bust when it came to on ball defense. He made some nice plays but got burned a lot too.

Truth. KBW was taken for granted last year. Without him, we don’t make the sweet 16

I remember all of the desperate situations in basketball team over the last 35 years and I'll take WW's everyday of the week. God, our basketball program needed this.

Nothing negative about last years team and players. At this time last year, who would have guessed?
Not the media.
I believe in Will Wade.

What does “will go get the ball” mean for a guard in basketball? Is he an above average rebounder or something?

So you'd rather go back to previous years under Jones and Williams?
