His choice of words in the SEC Network interview were interesting though:

All this is pretty simple. Everyone knows that players get paid -- everywhere. The coaches all know. It's part of the game. Everyone has to play to win. It's like cycling was a while back, when literally everyone was doping.

Wade can deny everything to LSU, the NCAA, and the media, but he can't lie in court, because he doesn't want to go to jail. Everything now depends on whether he has to testify or not, and what he is asked. If he gets past the trial, then he'll survive this, in my opinion.

I find it silly to think that Wade, Alleva, and Alexander could do anything other than what they're doing, given the implication in the report that Wade orchestrated payment to Smart. This is how it has to play out. If no other evidence comes out and he doesn't have to testify, Wade will spin himself out of trouble and go on to further greatness as our coach.

I'm rooting for him.

No chance. You realize there are multiple schools with similar issues that still have the head coach on the bench and the player playing? This is going on in ever NCAA basketball program across the country. Just like Daddy Dale did in 86’, Wade will threaten to uncover the bullshite that is college basketball recruiting.

IMO, Wade will sit out the remainder of the year then deal with the trail and be back with the team for the summer.

You who are clueless to the underground shady recruiting that goes on in college basketball are about to be shocked when all this information leaks.
