By your logic Wade would be fired now. What gives?

You’re arguing that if Wade was innocent he would have said so in this release, and met with Alleva.

I’m pointing out that a previously embattled coach was innocent, said so publicly, and still got fired. So why would you open yourself up to that?

Sorry that our administration does not have the balls to stand behind you coach.

Wade might as well start cleaning out his office because Joe Alleva had a track record of not waiting for the record to be complete.

It’s time to erase this shameful stain from the pages of the LSU history books

How did you come to that conclusion?

Guy just told me alleva gave an ultimatum to show up or get fired

If Wade was in the same situation, he would have fired him. But again they aren’t alike & we all know it

FWIW, I've been told that the move to suspend was fought by more than one person. Obviously it wasn't enough.

So you think Wade saved his job by not showing up?

Not showing up may have cost him his job

He just got suspended & he’s issuing statements. Of course if you were truly innocent you would take the time to say it. He wouldn’t even sit in the same room as his bosses

Nobody knows what he's about to testify, I'll be damned if I let Joe Alleva know that testimony before the federal court

I wish someone would stuff dickie vitale into a garbage can. Vitale regularly blows coach K , Bill Self, Bobby Knight and Slimeball Rick Pitino. Does Dick have any honor in being objective ? Little fricker is more biased than CNN and CBS news. He has zero credibility with his language.

At this point you’re being intentionally obtuse.

You asked why he wouldn’t show if he was innocent. I explained why.

It doesn’t make me obtuse because your example was not applicable

Explain. Because, once again, I don’t think you even understand what I’m saying. But continue to make leaps to assumptions about my responses.

Did Alleva give Mike Pressler an ultimatum to either show up or be fired?

This is your script bro.

I don’t know. But when he showed up to plead his case, he wasn’t offered the opportunity.

Pressler played nice like you claim Wade should if he’s innocent. How’d that turn out?

Actually, it’s yours. I gave you an example to your question of why Wade would skip out on the meeting.

This is fair enough, but I still don't understand the outrage about the suspension afterward. Both parties did what they had to do. Wade is the only person who has put himself in this position

So you think Wade (in his head) could avoid being fired by not showing up to this meeting?

I honestly don’t get the angle other than acting like a disgruntled fanatic. The situations are not the same. And your example is not logical or applicable.

Deflect deflect deflect is what they should've done.

There's no way I believe that Wade did what he did without F King and Alleva trying to misguidedly be hardasses.

*i realize my bias and I will embrace it for now

For the 10th time. No. I’m explaining why he wouldn’t show. I’ve not once said it was the right move or the best move.
