That will be a good matchup between Maryland and Belmont. Belmont will win.

LSU is just streaky from 3, Waters, Smart, and Days all have a nice stroke. Reid’s shot is strange looking, but he’s got range as well. Tremont is the only one I really trust if the game is on the line. Mays is inconsistent but has hit big shots as well. I wish Hornsby was on this squad.

Basically any team that fires up a lot of 3's and makes a lot of them. We'll be good as long as we commit to defending the 3 pointer. Got to stay disciplined and aware at all times. Florida, Auburn, Miss State, and Ole Miss are quality teams. They will go as far as the 3 pointer takes them. Kentucky, LSU, and Tennessee have good inside games to go with great guard play. SEC will represent very well. Would love to see LSU vs DUKE w chance to play in Final 4. That would be sweet. I like our chances....

Michigan State , Duke has weaknesses on D. Zion of course is a prob, I think LSU should be in 2nd weekend still with it being said.

Not sure they can upset us any more than they have already. I know I’m pretty upset with them already.

Oh. You meant like losing another game? Never mind.....

I looked through Maryland's box scores, and honestly I'm not impressed at all.

Problem is they have a huge advantage in coaching without Will.

I feel like duke is a good match up for us and would be a really good game if we can get there. Can honestly see us getting to the final four if we play as well as we are capable of. I would feel a lot better if WW was on the bench of course.

Michigan State and Maryland will be our biggest tests offensively, Duke defensively. But I’d be more worried about Mich St than Duke. I know I know Duke is the GOAT team ever and Zion is the greatest thing since sliced bread but if you watch Duke you know that they struggle vs teams who can protect the rim, have athletes and are strong inside. Duke is always soft and always relies on the 3. Hachimura 6 foot 8 dominated them inside, the big slow 7 footer from Syracuse dominated them inside, Maye from UNC who’s an average rebounder at best grabbed 16 boards and UNC whipped em twice blowing them out in the first meeting. Michigan St. plays D like Florida with better offensive personal and a seasoned tourney coach. If we face Duke we need to wall off the paint against Zion and let Barrett shoot them out of the game which he loves to do. Not saying they don’t present problems because of course they do but Duke isn’t a bad matchup for us.

Pretty simple. If LSU shows up they win. If they play lackluster D they could lose. Yale has some talent. They shoot well and have some depth. I watched them play in the Ivy league championship and i was thinking this wasn't a team i wanted to face in the first round. But if we show up with our A game we should move on just because of the amount of talent we have.

Yales defensive efficiency is absolutely awful so that makes me feel better about moving on

Yale is a good team, they beat Monmouth, Vermont and Miama and went to o.t. with Memphis.

However, looks like they love fast paced games...which works out well for us I think.
