This team is so well coached. Night and day vs the previous regime.

I don't know what I appreciate more. The guy that is a pure Xs and Os guy, or the one who expects 100% effort every play from his team.

We’ve got some shooters on this team. Much more well coached overall. The offense creates and passes well.

Playing good defense is something that is not difficult to change. Being an effort coach, I would have thought it would be better. It is still horrific

Jesus, he's trying to change the Jones era with Jones' players.
Listen to him mic'd up. He had the team come in and practice this morning because he was upset with how they practiced.
It's ridiculous to blame Wade for that.
EDIT: You expected a one year fix? Give me a break.

I rode for him harder than anyone in the coaching search
I think he will be great for lsu basketball
It is ok to be honest though. Our defense is worse than it should be still

It's not great, but clearly he's on the players when they put in 100%. Always.
Also, quicker/higher scoring = more defensive possessions.

Coaching players how to play off the ball defense is not a quick thing. Learning defensive rotations is not easy for some people.
