Here are the students. You can add a dozen if you include the drummers that led Mike and CWW onto the floor. The photo was taken right before noon.

I’m just glad I won’t have to watch McFRAUD ride around campus on a golf cart handing out donuts to bring fans to what would have been another losing season… good riddance…

He has always been a likeable guy, and when I saw his love for LSU today, how could one not support him? I think that had another school offered more money (perhaps absent "f you" money), he would have turned it down for LSU.

Given the people who are coming with him, he must have said some really good things about what they can do at LSU.

However, the NCAA was going to get everything from the FBI after the trials concluded. The Wade tape was leaked to the media by Hawkins' defense team.

Exactly and Hawkins probably let his old coach have a copy as he probably knew how much he hated WW and of course his old coach got it to his boys in the media - and they - Dick and Forde - were as relentless as I've ever seen two journalists in going after anyone.

I'm curious about the Jones hire if that in fact is happening. I'm Fairly ambivalent about it in a vacuum, maybe it's just to keep the Dale Posse from working against him in the background by having one of their own in the mix, if that's the case not a bad strategy.

I love that he acknowldeged his offense and defense weren't great at the same time and this time around they'll both be great.

Are you finally over your delusion and constant crying about McMahon??

One has nothing to do with the oither. Unlike some of you I don't live in an either / or world. I have always supported Will Wade and was really pissed the NCAA pursued him over a comment he made which proved NOTHING. Meanwhile Coach K can move Chris Duhon's momma to Durham and give her a job nothing said. Don't get me started on Calipari and Bruce Pearl among others who never seemed to draw investigative attention. I also understand that Wade was fired for refusing to meet with his boss,

That said, many thing I stated on behalf of McMahon are valid . We don't know whether he could have been successful here but if you don't believe the situation he inherited and losing the players he did to injuries made a profound difference then so be it. He will land on his feet again and have success, hopefully at another major school .

I am going to fully support Wade and I am optiimistic that he can rebuild quickly with abundant NIL money and the contacts he has in recruiting circles. We also need to be patient and not assume everything will be the same from the jump. He caught lightning in a bottle with Tremont Waters after he was released from his Georgetwon scholly when Ewing was fired, but he may not have the same fortune this early. Unless he can do so he needs to make a strong push to convince Dedan to stay. If healthy he can have the same effect as Tremont. I believe he is a better distributor than Tremont, but not as good with scoring skills. Reece showed a lot of growth and had an incredible assist to turnover ratio for a freshman, just needs to develop his decision making. The three bigs can be valuable contributors if they return.

I am optimistic that we will have a conference contender and regularly land in the top four. I wouldn't be surprised to see Oats leave for a higher profile job or even the NBA, Barnes has to be close to retirement, Baby Pearl is still an unknown, Cal will probably have his yearly haul of one and dones and not last beyond the first weekend, and Pope reminds of Billy Gillespie who replaced Joe B Hall in the eighties. Golden needs to show consistency for a few more seasons before he is annointed the next Billy D. You can throw a blanket over the rest of the coaches in the league so the opportunity is there for Wade to show he can take the next step that eluded him his first go round. I wil support him as I have supported all LSU coaches since Jay McCarthy and hopefully I will see that national championship banner hanging from the rafters. If Kim can build around the veterans and this years golden triangle of freshmen and a strong portal haul LSU can become the basketball capitol of the country over the next few years.

Coach Wade gave the audience in a master class on how to handle a press conference. It was a blend of confidence and humility - something that one does not see very often. While I am sure he likes the pay he will receive, it seems that he is also highly motivated by a strong affection for LSU. One doesn't see that very often especially when the Coach had no prior connection with LSU when he first started coaching at LSU.

That was a great press conference. I think recruits are also going to live what they’re hearing. It’s a good start.

He could have seen my post. I said he looked like Tiger Pimp Nation and that jacket was more pink than purple.

Glad you said something similar.

I didn't get to tune in live yesterday and I finally just watched the whole thing. What's with the "Hey bud" to Moscona? Seemed like an inside joke that I must have missed. Is that an inside joke between them?

frick it, after hearing him speak about winning immediately and turning this thing around. Im in on the general.

All the talk about initial sticker price shock and winning immediately it almost sounds like they've given him a blank check to get whoever he wants this first year.
