Yeah WW fricked up but that doesn’t make him a bad person. If anything he was helping underprivileged kids and their parents. Nothing he did was immoral. Anyone who has worked with him or played for him speaks highly of him and I found that to be true when I met him back in 2017. You can tell that he was a player’s coach and they loved him for that. This is a dumb comment.

Wade gave his all to LSU. Yes he made some boneheaded missteps, but he was just trying to play the game you have to play to win in college hoops.

The way Woodward handled the situation was the disgrace.

More than Will helping the university, he loves his players and is going to help them. I don’t know about the Adam Miller thing, but if he did actually tell him to go to TCU, it would have been because he cares about him and his development and truly believes that’s a better fit for him and his game. I can’t see Wade fricking his guys just to frick LSU out of spite.

I’m with you on this. It’s ok to feel just as you said and also fully support McMahon.

Why does everything have to be one extreme or the other??

Honestly Wade just came through a few years too early. Everything now that he is “accused” of doing is essentially legal now with NIL. WW brought LSU back. He was simply doing what the blue bloods have done for years but somehow get away with it (Kansas situation and Duke/Zion all happened at the same time as WW’s issue). He should always be thought of in a positive light IMO.

He might care about his friend McMahon and the couple of players left. But it isn’t a program care. What you posted is a fairy tale.

So did you talk to Wade and get that from him or are you coming from a place of pure ignorance? My money is on ignorance

Also, Adam Miller tweeted that the story wasn’t true and that Wade was telling him to do what he thought was best for himself.

You mean the You Must Be Joking’s Blake Ruffino was wrong?! Well I for one am shocked

Yeah, i'm still plenty pissed - and IMHO have every right to be - about that but I know I'm howling at the moon.

Dick even said it's o.k. for Self because none of those players are still on the team. I don't even know if true but BS either way.

Is “martyr” too strong of a word?

I don’t think so.

Wade set this program back years!

Helping the new guy is the least he can do.
