I can give two fricks less if LSU basketball ever won another game if firing Will Wade saved LSU football from going on probation.

2 things.
1) Will Wade did not, and was not, ever going affect LSU football. I don’t like to call names on here but anyone who believes that needs to wear a helmet when they walk outside.
2) Cool that you don’t care about basketball. Some people do. I don’t care about women’s basketball or gymnastics, but I don’t go in threads about them and shite on them.

His time here started when he was incredibly young to be coaching at a school of this size and spotlight. He was only 35 his first season here. Fired before he was 40. Dan Hurley is 52. Bill self 62. Scott Drew 54. Tony Bennett 55. Jay Wright 63. Those are the last 5 coaches to win natty's. Dan Hurley never made it past the 2nd round of the ncaa until he broke through and won his first natty. He had a worse career winning % than Wade prior to that - by a long shot.
In his time here he brought us to the NCAA tournament on a more consistent basis than any coach we had since Dale did it in the 80s.
You might not like him, but he's a winner who's best days are ahead of him

I’ve never seen people have such a hard on for someone who didn’t accomplish a lot in a 3rd tier sport at LSU.
