Speculating:Weeding out the guys who don’t buy in or contribute, sending a message to those that could contribute but haven’t bought in, and freeing up spots for recruits. I wonder if Sims and Rachel will get on board or ship out?
I like it, this is the year to set program culture and identity, gotta make sure to purge any remnants of the old mindset so it can’t infect and spread to our incoming guys.

There's no way Rachal was suspsened for "not buying in". The guy has contributed since pretty much day one

I think you have to do a lot more than just "not buying in" to get dismissed without ever being suspended before.

Saw that Kiir, Alexander, and Sims got in trouble for shooting paintballs at people during the summer. I can only imagine what they did this time.

GOOD! I wasn't impressed with any of them which means little. However, if the Tigers are rebuilding let's get the GOOD apples. If you're going to lose by 25 get the lazy non-productive ones off the floor. Not knowing the reasons but I trust Will Wade's opinion and outlook for the future. They were probably non-renewable scholarships considering the incoming class's rating and rep! .

I have no issue with a coach disciplining players. If the players deserved it, good for Wade.
Hopefully, this isn't a sign that he lost control of the team.

Why do people ruin a thread by engaging in unnecessary (and in this case, inaccurate) criticism of Coach Jones. 3 of these 4 players had zero to do with Coach Jones.

Drug test is my guess too, makes sense to suspend two and dismiss two in the same circumstance. The dismissed guys must have had more than one failed test and the others must have just failed their first

I don’t think it matters whether it was “his” guys or not...it’s just good to know he’s gonna send a message that he’s not messing around. Nip it in the bud (no pun intended)
