Will this board ever learn to stop Pre-Melting?

Haven't people learned that trailing by 2 runs early in a baseball game doesn't take some miracle comeback to overcome?
Any time something bad happens in any baseball game, posters come out the wood works to complain. "This is the worst hitting team." "This team can't pitch." "CPM needs to be fired." "CPM doesn't have a weight training program."
I understand that is has been a disappointing season by LSU standards, but damn. Its not just this season. We had tons of people melting all the way to the CWS Finals last season.
Do some of you ever think, "Maybe I shouldn't hit submit on this thread complaining about LSU, and saying they can't hit. If they end up scoring 8 runs after I start this thread I will end up looking like a total little bitch."

Nope the rant will always be making broad sweeping judgements about players, coaches, teams, and the state of the program depending on the latest thing to occur. Good or bad.

damn good question. Strange thing is, we don't ever celebrate success prematurely. Hell, we don't even celebrate success after it has happened...instead, we find a way to turn it into a negative. We like to stew in our own misery....

Nope. Next time we're behind, the calls for CPM's head will resume at full strength. Even if we come back to win.

That's the thing though. The melting starts down like 2-3 runs, and very early in the game. I can kind of understand down 8 in the third inning, or something crazy like that, but 2-3 runs is nothing with 21 outs left in a baseball game.
