Will there ever be a women’s team that can troll the entire country like LSU women’s BB?

Cancel culture republicans and hypocritical liberals both crying in the streets for different reasons. Media looks like a North Korean funeral when Kim shows up on the screen. The sec rantards are shaking their trailers in glee over an LSU women’s basketball team.

It is good for LSU sports. Student athletes do not get the same attention in other schools as they get at LSU.

The question of whether this controversy (and the "villainization" of LSU is good for LSU or LSU athletics is still open to debate. And it is an interesting question.
It might be very good for individual athlete's NIL.
Notoriety and celebrity are related concepts. And NIL is a function of celebrity.
Angel Reese can play to one constituency and deeply alienate another, larger one and still make money. As long as her constituency buys apparel, shoes, cosmetics, recordings, etc.
But the school (or its athletic dept.) itself might suffer over the long run, because the conduct offends too many of its larger constituency.
Its a new world out there, with new risks.

I think the anthem "controversy" proves that there are no long term effects. People on this board literally forgot that they were mad about the same thing that happened when they played Iowa last year. It'll be poofed out of people's brains in a couple weeks but for this week it's most important thing ever.
